I would probably say Saban and Alabama at the moment. Don't see any other jobs that Saban would want to leave to.

I would also say Petrino and Dooley are up there. Petrino because he's done well at Arkansas, and I don't think he can risk damaging his reputation even further by making a jump to another school so quick. Dooley because I don't think Tennessee wants any more turmoil after the shite that they've been through the last couple of years.

Tennessee wants to win. Most of the fans are all about stability and all that, but the people with the big money won't keep him around forever just because they don't want a bad recruiting class. Dooley has talent to work with. He better produce with it for his job's sake.

Believe what you want to believe, but Les Miles has slain the dreaded negatiger, calmed the chicken littles, and won over the formerly hostile press.

There is no one so strong as he who has not only won, but done it his way, despite everyone telling him he's wrong, he's a fool, and he lacks an internal clock.

Miles is completely unchallenged in the state of Louisiana, and throughout Tiger Nation.

If you want a precedent, look back to Tubbs going undefeated after Lowder's secret meeting with Petrino got exposed. Tubbs had Auburn by the balls then.

Miles winning ten games without a QB, and in the process beating Meyer, Saban, and Nutt in the same season has left him untouchable. By anyone.

And it's not just winning, it's about winning with trick plays, a humongous pair of balls, and eating grass on national TV.

Les Miles is now president-for-life, generalissimo, supreme ruler of all he sees.

Louisiana is his world, and everyone else is just renting space in it.

I would think that he gets at least two or three more years to produce. If he keeps improving year by year, I think he's stable. Considering that we're having coaches hired and fired and leaving on their own volition left and right, I would consider a two or three year window a shining beacon of stability in the SEC.

I'm not so sure about that

I think he'll be fine with a little patience.

Fair enough, but I think he needs 9-3 minimum in year 3 to be guaranteed a 4th year. He could survive 8-4, but that better not include losses to both Bama and Florida.

this is the SEC, if only half your fan base spends the season clamoring for you to be fired you're doing a damned good job

Why do you think that Miles would hang around? "Negatigers" are simply resting in the shade. I think LSU and Miles would be happy with the split. I think LSU goes after Gus Malzahn.

I doubt it, but he can only do so well with the lack instate talent. UT cannot recruit nationally like they did in the 90s.

Chizik is easily the most stable and it is not close.

He is going to be at AU a very long time as most of our coaches usually are. He is a very good coach and he will not leave AU for any school in the NCAA.

Oh yeah, all the retards yapping about death penalty and Gus being the real HC = :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
