Question to Aggies on Knight?

Where is all the optimism coming from on this guy. Is he getting good reports from camp or are y'all just betting on him being the guy that beat Bama? I have some good friends that are die hard OU fans and they seem to have pretty bad opinions of him. I hear he is a good guy and wish him well accept against LSU.

Optimism is more from having a new OC and new OL coach. Knight just needs to be average.

I don't think A&M fans have had "all this optimism" about him. I am just hoping he can be a mature guy and realize he has weapons all over and doesn't have to do too much. I think the thing that we are looking for is maturity, which we had none of last year.

No he doesn't. The defense will carry this team. The offense just can't be stagnant (OM game) or have ridiculous turnovers (Bama game).

Your defense isn't going to "carry this team" with a below average QB and no running game. Sorry, no sale.
