yeh, the HBC was funny. But that was over 20 years ago.

Why do you conclude this? The Gators had the best recruiting class of all time, and did not even win the SEC with it.

If the 18 class had remained intact, I'd be expecting a Natty this season. As it stands UGA has as good a chance as anyone to win the SEC, and the (likely) #1 D in the country provides a legitimate chance at the Natty as well.

1 but there are other elements to it too. Once again, it will take him developing this talent better... He has done a great job on defense but this year with he offensive side will tell a lot. I do think by the time he has 10 years under him there will be multiple titles won.

It seems you protest too much. Did you have a crush on Mullen and experienced un-reciprocated overtures? Agreed he's kind of dorky, but so is mutt cut Kirby. Would not want to hang with either of them.
