Idiotic LSU fans deflecting in everything else and bringing up the score of a football game. You really are a pathetic lot. This thread is about baseball. You are a fanatic fan of a baseball team that is a tier below a single A minor league baseball team. If someone was a huge fan of a minor league team, 99% of people would just accept they're mentally ill. Now apply that to a college baseball team, and you have LSU fans.

LSU 11
Florida 8
both have 3 national titles, so without digging TOO deep, I would say LSU has 8 SEC titles without winning a national title (7 without playing for one), Florida has 5 SEC titles without a national title (4 without playing for one). Both have lost a bowl that would have given them another title, so that (I guess) qualifies as 'making the playoffs'.

So what are your thoughts on college football seeing how less than 2% of college football players make it to the pros (of any kind, including CFL)?
The only reason CFB isn't 3 or 4 levels below the NFL is because there isn't a minor league system...

More and more colleges are starting to invest in baseball because they realize that there is a demand there, and sometimes huge demand. You see schools buidling new bigger and better stadiums to try and compete. College baseball has already started to take off and it will even more every year that goes by. It's a really good product and is alot of fun to watch...if your team is good at it and you like baseball to begin with. LSU baseball is a blast and is fun to keep up with. I really feel sorry for some of you and your fanbases that don't get to experience what LSU fans have. To each his own, but I don't get some of you saying who cares about baseball. Geaux Tigers.
That being said, I will take LSU football success over baseball everyday all day. I just happen to like football more. Some people like baseball more and I understand their pov too.

Sorry, but it is not a good product. I am a huge baseball fan and watch tons of big league and minor league baseball and college baseball lags behind both badly. The quality of play, as has been mentioned itt is somewhere around A ball.
It is an absolute embarrassment to watch these college coaches throw some of these kids arms off in tournament play.
Haven't seen any of the CWS, so don't know if it's been prevalent there so far, but the small ball is hard on the eyes also.
Saw a west coach super regional with 4 bunts in one half inning last week. Just horrible.

Bad question. It should have been would you rather win an Sec football game or a baseball NC. Football recruiting is bigger than baseball itself.
