You do you realize Kirby had a 5 star sophomore go down on the first series to open the 2017 season only have to have a freshman prepared enough to have his first start at Notre Dame and then go on a run to a national title game.

Yeah, he also had two five star senior running backs who were both drafted and are now playing in the NFL.

In fact, Fromm only threw for more yards than your team rushed twice -- and you guys lost both, ironically.

He didn't "lead" anything. He just let Michel, Chubb and co. carry the ball and threw it to guys.

That offense had the perfect mix:

A low-maintenance natural QB who would be good anywhere he went.

Two senior five-star RBs.

An extremely weak East. (Florida HC - Fired, Tennssee HC - Fired, Vandy - 1 - 7, Mizzou - 7 - 6, 9 - 4 SCAR, 7 - 6 Kentucky) Just for perspective: literally only two teams with more than eight wins.

And your hardest OOC game was an overrated ND team (as every year).

That isn't going to be replicated these upcoming years. The East is getting better (as evidenced vs. the West last season outside, of course, of Georgia) so coasting on running isn't going to work going forward.

You can be really good at coaching up 22 under the radar guys but it’s unreasonable to expect that you will coach up all 85; only so much time in a day and coaches to players.

Yeah, what leadership is required to suddenly find yourself starting in game 1 after the 5* in front of you goes down, win at Notre Dame, beat Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl, and win the SEC Championship as a true freshman and then post 11 more wins after those two running backs leave? What a scrub that guy is.

I don’t think Fromm is a scrub but UGAs team allowed him to look more successful than he actually is.

His most impressive moment to me was actually the loss against Bama in the SECCG when he made several big time throws in tight windows.

Other than that, he hasn’t really done much that sets him apart from other QBs.

Lol, Fromm can’t hold a candle to College Tebow.

Certainly you don't think he led the team while he only completed for more yards than the rushing attack twice in the entire season? He really didn't have to do anything -- (discounting his FCS game) he only completed more than 13 passes in 6 out of the 13 games he played in.

In those seven games, he completed less than 10 passes in six of them.

That's...easy to do behind great running backs, man.

Franks goes down, EJ or Trask could easily go in and run the offense since they actually have real-time experience.

A passer rating of 132 for trask vs a coasting mizzou, and doing well vs Idaho for Jones. That’s literally it.

Show me the numbers for the UGA backups.

Here, I'll link you.

Stetson Bennett, 6-0, 172lb

I trust Trask and EJ over Bennett or Mathis. Having any snaps in a live environment is better than having zero.

Oh, and having 4 years at a school + 2 is better than zero and one.

Georgia cannot say the same thing. You lose Fromm, you're done. You lose your RB, you're done.

Yep. Our season really tanked in 2017 when we lost our starting QB in the first series of our opening game. We had to replace him with a true freshman. Too bad we only made it to the NC game and came within a hair of winning it all.

Your strautism is acting up again. The question is why would any reasonable person be confident in the Florida backups. Try to focus.

Parse it all you want but Fromm is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country. You like to say Kirby can’t coach blah blah but he built an offense to allow a true freshman QB to take them to the national title which included a double didn’t come back in a playoff game. Keep spinning though.

Now, this is one of the most imbecilic comments I've ever read.

Just "how" does a team "allow" a player to look good? Hand him a comb and razor?

An elucidation is needed here.

We get it. You're gay for Fromm.

I'm into his mom. So we're into the Fromm family.

High five, brother!

It's almost as bad as having a dude in the avatar -- the vast majority of Georgia posters have one.
