Just take a look at the above picture of Stetson Bennett
Tbh I think Georgia could beat most teams on the schedule without any meaningful downfield passing attack.

Nah, we will just grind away with that OL. you keep hoping Fromm goes down. Either way, that L is coming again

Why do you have more faith in your first year four star and your walk-on than Trask or Jones?
Stetson Bennett has been a spring game stud, for what it’s worth. Not much of a sample size, but that’s no worse than garbage time snaps.

Until you're down three and need to score quick.
Trust me, the Will Muschamp School For Really Gooder Offenses is not where you want your team lol.

Sure, but I don’t think there are many teams that can get UGA into that situation.
Obviously this is not an experiment I want to see tested.

Kyle Trask went in at the middle of the Third Quarter vs. Missouri's first team and had 10 completions, 136 yards and a touchdown along with two drops from receivers who had already quit.
Missouri's 1st is better than a Spring Game, kiddo.

I never implied that. I didn’t know he played against Missouri tbh, but that was not some crazy good outing.
Obviously spring games don’t mean much, which is why I added for what it’s worth to that post.

Regardless, your tiny backup walk-on QB is the only thing keeping Georgia from ruin this year.
If Franks goes down, EJ or Trask could easily go in and run the offense since they actually have real-time experience.
Finally: I have infinitely more confidence in Mullen with a QB for two years than I do Kirby/OC Promoted.

Didn't you guys lose two five star QBs and all 5 of your top wide receivers?
Not only did we lose our top receivers, something that is being overlooked by many is the fact that UGA lost both their OC & DC.
We lost some really good players like Holyfield and Nauta and others....I'ma be waitin' and see'in.

Not needed in this particular case.
Qbs have to know how to run an offense and pass. You said nothing about that.

Lets be honest Florida has a snowballs chance in hell of winning anything with Franks, if they lose Franks they aren't winning shite.

Mullen is definitely game planning to be down by 3 scores and needing to score quick. He knows he has grantham.
You are lucky to have Mullen

Georgia is lacking depth in key areas on offense.
Where exactly? QB and... Tight End?
OL is DEEP
RB is DEEP
WR is deep with talent but unproven

You do you realize Kirby had a 5 star sophomore go down on the first series to open the 2017 season only have to have a freshman prepared enough to have his first start at Notre Dame and then go on a run to a national title game.

Hardman, Holloman, Nauta, Holyfield, Ridley, Godwin -- those are big names and all were contributors. You add on top of that an OC whose best gig was at Florida State (where he didn't call plays since Jimbo did), his second best gig was Al Golden's Miami Hurricanes (think of an OC taking a WR job at Georgia over another OC job). I mean, aside from that: Coley's offense while at Miami went down every single year he was the active OC there.
So you have an OC with a bad history and very little playcalling duties -- and when he does have experience in playcalling his offenses gradually got worse and worse until he was fired -- all top five receivers gone and no depth at QB (lol when a helmet comes off)?
Woo, it's going to be a balancing act this year.

But unlike most coordinator changes we wont be changing any playbooks or schemes after promoting Coley and Lanning/Schumann. Kirby was pretty clear at Media Days his whole philosophy is to make good hires top to bottom so when it comes time to replace coordinators he doesn’t have to go outside the program and mess up the team chemistry and playbook

I mean sure? But you’re talking about a 2nd round pick, a 400 yard receiver, a 7th rd pick, a UDFA, a 4th round pick, and a 7th round pick, respectively. We didn’t lose a bunch of first round talent and what we did lose is being replaced with multiple 5 and 4* receivers, some of whom have in fact played (Tyler Simmons, Charlie Woerner, Demetris Robertson, Lawrence Cager).

Trask is extremely serviceable and protects the ball.
EJ is a four star in his second year.

This is just another example of your strautism. I didn’t say I had more faith in our guys.
I basically asked why anyone would have a lot of faith in yours, and you didn’t say anything very meaningful:
- “Extremely serviceable” is just a better way of saying “average at best”.
- “second year” is another way of saying “not a true freshmen”.
