Do explain your rationale for thinking the CFP is easier to win a title in versus the BCS. Because last I checked one game you got voted into and the other you have to play your way into against one of the top 4 teams in the country

Auburn played and beat more CFP teams this season than UGA did, and we suck remember?

ETA: Even if to make it fair you count Auburn as a playoff team since you have disadvantage of being one of the playoff teams yourself, you played 3 and won 2. Auburn played 4 and won 2.

I can see an argument either way but for example the two teams that were in the national title game weren't even in the top 2 and thus wouldn't even have had a chance to win a title under the old system.

1980 was the date we were discussing sonny. Not my fault you have no reading comprehension.

Malzahn made a run 5 years ago when his gimmick offense was still relatively novel and teams got voted into the MNC.

His “run” last year fell apart in crunch time against a team auburn had already soundly beaten earlier in the season em route to a loss to a Group of 5 team.

Chizik and Roof also had arguably the greatest player of the last 30 years at their disposal. Unless you’re counting on Gus being able to pull another one of those out of JUCO (which given his dependence on transfer QBs I guess isn’t totally out of the question)

This is quite a bit of projection from a fan base that lost their collective shite when Auburn won a title

What? When did this happen? Please give me a few examples. Most UGA fans I knew either didn't GAS about
The game or were pulling for AU

We weren't the fan base the was pulling for its supposed biggest rival in the NC game...shows you how
truly desperate and childish the AUBBIES have become.

Were you alive the last time AU won a title?

How about UGA?

That was the question. Learn to read sonny. When you're able comprehend the initial response, let the rest of us know

Yea what a loser, couldn't even beat a top 5 team for the 3rd time in 4 weeks.

And Auburn lost by 21 in the game that mattered most. When you win matters just as much if not more than who you beat. To make it fair? We played for the SEC title didn’t we?

Btw auburn played 4 and won 2 (beat Bama and UGA, lost to Clemson and UGA)

You're forgetting the 6 or 7 that magically appeared in the early 80s.

Bama's 1983 media guide
Note the number of national championships listed.

LOL

UGA people go on unhinged, frothing-at-the-mouth tirades about Cam and Fairley even now

Hopefully that will stop now that UGA has found some swagger, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't

Right? How do you go from beating a team by 23 and then 3 weeks later lose to them by 21 on a neutral field when it matters most? Crazy.

Yea it would suck. Here's to another 38 years

Well, Auburn was 57 years in between titles, so I guess Auburn will win another one in...2067. How old will you be?

Considering it was over 50 years between Auburn's I wouldn't brag.

Because 4>2

Easier to make the playoffs, but harder to win the Championship, because you have to play two top 4 teams to win it.

And as easy as it is to make the playoffs, Auburn still hasn't done it.

Because it's only the 4th year. We will be soon, not to worry.
