You don't need to do anything impressive to be average dude.

They're ranked 61 on Sagarin out of over 200 schools listed including 139 FBS schools. They're the very statistical definition of average.

And getting back to the point of comparing Tech to Oregon's schedule, Northwestern would be favored against 7 teams on Tech's schedule.

I think people like to dump on Northwestern

I think the UGA defense has gelled at the right time, and Kirby and staff have seen a lot of that offense recently. Not saying that 35 won't happen, but after watching the SECCG I'm doubtful.

I don't know what tot ell you. You can't give me one criteria that would elevate them above bad. Not impressive...just anything at all that elevates them.

You won't convince me and i obviously won't convince you. But think about this...Sagarin having them at #61 does not make them decent even. Put them against most average teams and they would get beat. Think about that
for a minute. If they played most any team with a 6-6 record, they would get beat. They proved that on the field.

Did you just make that all up?

Northwestern was 2-1 against teams 6-6 or 7-5. In fact, Penn State is a lot like Auburn. They're an FEI and SP+ top 25 team.

That fatass is grasping at straws.

Georgia went into Knoxville and layed 44 on the Vols.

Didn't know that people say 'furtherest' and 'fartherest'

Is that a Michigan dialect thing cause the Willis guy lives up there ?!!?

hardly. Penn State beat 3, count them three P4 teams and shocker 3 G5 teams.

The three P4 teams they beat?
Michigan State 4-8
Nebraska 7-5
Rutgers 5-7

You can try to spin it any way you want, but Penn State was yet another bad team. The only thing you can say about Auburn is they did keep some of their games close.
Northwestern got beat by thee TDs by Tulane.

That was really said by an Ole Miss fan? I mean, the "furtherest" game they played in was at Oklahoma.

Athens to Starkville is 314 miles
Oxford, Miss. to Norman, Oklahoma is 454 miles
So, Ole Miss traveled an extra 140 miles? Did they have to walk?
Shocking!

I am convinced you're retarded.

Auburn beat 2 G5 schools, Mercer, Arkansas and Baylor and they're top 25/26 FEI and SP+ team. Penn State is like 17 in one of those.

I guess you can say Penn State did keep some of their games close. lol

Well, they must have won almost all of their games, since some metric rated them that high, right?

I am retarded (your words) and yet you are the one arguing Penn State was a good team.

I have to admit, if Penn State actually was a good team, then I apparently am retarded. In your world they should have barely missed the playoffs.
