Kyler Murray
This dude aint playing QB in college, will have to hit a major growth spurt and gain a ton of arm strength. Amazing athlete that will play DB or receiver, would not be suprised to see him as a top 50 recruit by the time he graduates as an ATH.

Didn't Kyler Murray win the TX HS State Championship as a freshman QB? Maybe we should see if he fills out as he matures before writing off his potential.
Wish Matt Davis all the best of luck. Really like that kid.

But seriously, I'm sad to see Davis go. By all accounts, he was a true leader in the locker room. I wish him all the success in the world wherever he ends up.

As a sophomore, but yes, it's a bit too early to close the book on his future at QB.

It's too bad. He loved A&M and I was hoping he would be up for a position change. I hope he's successful wherever he ends up. He's a tremendous leader

too small, not enough arm strength, will need to change positions...
oh... wait...

quote:As a QB he would thrive a some small school somewhere. If he wants to play in the SEC, he will be DB or WR. He can be absolutely elite for either in my opinion. Pretty sure he was a sohpomore but I could be wrong. If he is 5'11, I am 6'5".... (I am 6'1). He threw it for 49 yds that game... i think he is elite, just not a QB
writing off his potential

BTW, I live in Allen and have met the kid a few times, thats how I can vouch for his size. GREAT KID, was very polite and respectful.

His dad, Kevin Murray (finished his Aggie career 25-6-1 as a starting QB), is 6'2. So there's definitely room for a 15 year old to grow.
He won the Texas 5A State Title as a Sophmore. Saying he won't be QB at this point would be a tad premature.

Fair enough. But I like his pedigree. Maybe he'll grow a little more by the time he graduates. Time will tell.

I think he is going to be a nightmare for other teams, hoping Aggie's can't lang him but that looks invevitable...

Wouldnt this be a good sign for Texas A&M that Manziel will be cleared?
Are you familiar with this board? Nothing is a positive.
Nick Saban made him quit. Guaranteed.
Also Mark Richt completely lost control of him.

I was listening to SiriusXM College Sports last week and an aTm fan called in talking about how awesome Davis was and how "the aggies wouldn't miss a beat without Manziel and might even be better with Davis." Said he was more athletic with a bigger arm. Serious as a heart attack
