Vandy and Kentucky can compete in college baseball and have no chance in football. There have been 10 different SEC Baseball Champions since 1992 expansion. There have only been 6 different SEC Football Champions in the last 40+ years.
There are only about 20 football programs in the country that have the resources to win a national championship in football. Small athletic budget schools like Cal-State Fullerton and Rice have the resources to win College Baseball Championships.
Far, far more competition in college baseball than football.

I always enjoy a battle between posters who are so good at arguing on here they go 15 pages just making points and refuting them over and over. No one ever wins but they are very entertaining to read.
