A friend I grew up with…her son was the RF for Texas. I didn’t root as hard against them when we played and I felt terrible for him when they lost. He had so many injuries and kept fighting back. It’s tough to see that finality for a player’s player.

Not really. On occasion, due to the fact that I'm from the Athens-Clarke County area (along with my paternal family being fans), I'll root for UGA, but all-in-all, I only root for Auburn and to a lesser extent... Georgia Tech. Generally speaking, pulling for a school because a friend, significant other, or relative goes there isn't happening.

I have a couple of friends who are bama fans, but hell no.

My child went to UGA and I'm a little more dawg tolerant, but not much, or maybe not at all now that she's graduated. I did enjoy going up to Athens.

I miss when the Auburn/UGA rivalry was hospitable.

I hope it gets back there one day, as long as that doesn't involve UGA ending their gridiron dominance of Auburn.

Screw that. I don’t pull for a rival school if I have family there
