I think he needs to move on to the Big East and bring them back.

Yes, Saban brought Bama back. As for LSU, you have to be somewhere before you can bring it back.

Might be the one thing both LSU and Bama fans can agree on right now.

LSU made Nick Saban what he is.

bammers should be thankful to the Tigers for that.

I'm not good at stats. Someone please tell me how many conference championships or national championships did Nick win before LSU turned his career around?
I'll hang up and listen.

That at least bears a passing resemblance to him...

I was wondering why Bama had a statue of Matlock on their campus

Not to take anything away from what Chizik has done at AU, but I think Saban is part of the reason they kicked Tubs out and brought in a new staff to begin with. I feel like the majority of the SEC West has stepped their game up in an effort to compete with BAMA and LSU.

1 less than his 1 bowl win.

Truth is without Saban, both of the teams in this title game may be watching from home. Without him turning us around, we wouldn't have the talent or coaches to compete like we have. I prefer CLM but Saban gave him a great program and Les has not let it fall.

I won't go as far as to say this is 100% fact, but it does have a slight bit of truth to it.

What I mean is- does anyone really believe he could transform Ole Miss into an SEC Champion in only two years?

HOWEVER......

Aside from all the BS, I certainly appreciate and acknowledge what he did for us here. I'm equally appreciative of the job our current coach has done.

There will come a day when Nick Saban returns to Tiger Stadium not as "the enemy", but as a former head coach celebrating the anniversary of a National Championship with his former team. On that day, he deserves a hero's welcome, IMHO.
