Trying ti be good but.. bored.. had positive test for “da-cooovid” last night.. so just grumpy. Fortunately this 1/9 discussion came to visit, the “gift that keeps on giving,” to cheer me up.

Ngl but that Bama team in 2011 was legit as much as I want to shite on them for getting a second chance. LSU and Bama were the 2 best teams and it wasn't even close that year.
2017 Bama got in because of the playoffs AND Auburn shite the bed in the SECCG. Don't pretend they sucked in either of those seasons.

Yea, they won a conference (without playing a conference title game by the way) in a conference that Bama would have walked away with.
Now, you keep changing the goalposts. First, it was you should win your conference. Now, you conveniently say you just need to win your division. Whats next, at least they beat Florida which should count for something. Decide what criteria does and does not get in the playoff instead of changing it to suit your narrative. Do you need to win your conference? Do you just need to win your division? Its gonna happen sometimes where the best two teams are in the same division. Hell, basketball has dealt with this a long time. Villanova won a title in 85 finishing 4th in the Big East.
Yea, UGA won their division in 2021 but just 1 short year ago it was a team shouldn't be in if they didn't win their conference. UGA showed up, got blown the frick out but NOW you say thats ok. Had Alabama been in UGA's shoes last year, undefeated, already in the playoffs, and got blown out in an SECCG in Birmingham, I'll bet you everything I own you wouldn't have said Bama should get in.
We rematched UGA and lost. Fine, they should have been there. LSU fans have taken the most candy a$$ed approach to 2011. Hell, yall were beat before we ever kicked off by showing your fear of having to play Bama, which was better than Okie St, again. Act like men and play the game. If you lose you lose but lose playing the best. I've never seen a fanbase that was so scared to play a game in my life.
