Monty, what is the secondary looking like this year? I know y'all lost Jackson and Humphrey but what does the returning depth look like?
We are replacing Eddie and Hump. TB is taking the nickel while Fitze is moving to FS. Lots of 5* talent back there, but they will still get burned and mossed because they don't turn their heads around

Strength: RB, DL, LB

Pettway speaks for himself as a strength. Lost talent on DL, but they were extremely deep last year and should be good again. Linebackers are a year older and all are very talented.

Weakness: Safety, WR

Safety could really give us problems as we lost our only competent safety. Hopefully Trigga and Stephen Roberts can figure it out. WR is sad. We have a 5-6 punter as a projected starter right now and our most talented guy wasn't with the team this spring.

Could go either way: QB, CB, OL

O-line is talented, but we're replacing a couple long term starters. CB really depends on whether we see freshman Carlton or sophomore Carlton. Stidham could easily be a strength, but he hasn't taken a snap yet at Auburn, so we must pump the breaks there right now.

Even without Kyle Davis this is the strongest the WR position has been since 2004. You know damn well Hastings won't start.

Strengths: Jake Bentley and the passing game. A great combo of wideouts and tight ends and a stable of backs than can catch and work in space. And I feel like linebacker, although thin, our starting three match up very well with anyone.

Weakness: pass rush, oline, and special teams... losing a senior punter, long snapper, holder, and the all time leading scorer in fry is a tough one.

I hate to tell you but Gus has full intentions of making Hastings a primary target and focal point of our offense.

And we absolutely need Kyle Davis to return to make our WR corps truly legit.
