Just accept that a&m and LSU were essentially equal for the first 100 years of both of our programs

I can send you an LSU t-shirt.

And LSU (before 2000) was "essentially the same" as ten spots behind Aggie as Aggie was to ten spots behind Yale....

By your criteria LSU is historically essentially the same as Notre Dame.

So to recap-LSU top 10 historical program
Aggie-Essentially Yale.

Actually, Boise St, Oklahoma and Ohio St have more wins. And Alabama has more National Championships. Carry on.

What the OP was saying is that AMONG TEAMS THAT HAVE MULTPLE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS SINCE 2000, LSU has the most victories.
Who are those teams? Florida, USC, alabama, Miami, and LSU.
The same holds true for teams that have appeared in 3 NCGs since 2000 - that being: Oklahoma, USC, bama, and LSU - WITH THE EXCEPTION OF - Ohio State - who has been in 3 NCG games but has more wins than LSU.

"Carry on."

A conversation that should have taken place long ago somewhere in Aggieland:

Aggie Boy:Daddy, when Aggies grow up , do they become LSU Tigers?

Daddy Aggie: No son. If you are to be a Big Boy Aggie you must come to terms with being 20th best. Not top ten. Like when we play "My little pony" with our Cheer Boy action figures, you know how we are always the pink pony? Well, Aggie football is like that, son...."

Speedy doesn't know shite about history. He's pretty proficient in the history of Spliffage, it is said. But let's compare the careers of Trey Quin/Malachi Dupre and Spliff Master Noil in three years.

No, not at all.

Look I am not going by that random website. I am going by accomplishments. Notre Dame is not CLOSE to LSU in 1999 because in 1999 ND had 7+ more national titles to their name.

In 1999, LSU had one national title and one Heisman winner. In 1999, A&M also had one Heisman winner and one national title. Those are the two "national" awards that matter, so you can't be "ten spots better" just because you won a bunch of Sugar Bowls back when the SEC sucked. I will give you that MAYBE the bowl record shows LSU to be the better program in 1999 then but its barely.

Basically:

TAMU = LSU - Saban + gay

Not to mention that they quit on y'all back then.
And way to admit that those 1919 and 1927 claims are bogus.

Interesting opinion. This link would seem to disprove that though: (see #9 and #20)

Those claims WERE bogus back in the SWC or Big 12.

The SEC obviously has a different standard for counting national titles (thanks Bama) that we are now emulating.

The CFDW criteria for ranking programs is kinda wonky though.
