Saban does push his assistants hard and he will push some off earlier than they might have stayed but all are going to leave no matter what. If your assistants are good one day they will leave and go on to bigger and better things, the better they are the faster this is likely to happen.

Everyone says he can't keep coaches around but this staff has pretty much been in tact for four years. The only major loss being Kevin Steele. I guess you can throw in lance thompson but that was more like shedding dead wood than losing a coach. I think its time this staff got some new blood. Some of these guys are getting a little long in the tooth and more than a little complacancy has set in with players and coaches.

The only way to prevent attrition on a coaching staff is to hire bad coaches. When you hire top coaches it is inevitable that they will be offered other jobs.
