Georgia historically may not beclose to Bama(few are), but right now? Georgia fans expect to beat Alabama now.

My natural inclination is zero.

I think it is near zero even if some last second play ends the game.

I think Georgia may beat Alabama handily this year, so it might be a moot point.

And.....Alabama can't beat Georgia when we are at full strength. Every single time Alabama has beaten Georgia we had had injuries on the team.

The fans should storm the field after beating Alabama. A win would seal Georgia's claim of Superiority, passing the Tide as the league's leader.

The last two national Championships have done that.

Using your logic, since Georgia beat Ohio State last, then Ohio State's championship does not position them as the countries leader in football, and cannot claim superiority over Georgia.

You can't have it both ways.

That was also the game when the ref got pegged in the head by a fan throwing a football.

That was no fan. That was Jake Fromm!

Do you storm the field when you win 42 to 6?

So no.

Post-COVID:

Wins
UGA: 56
Bama: 47

Losses
UGA: 5
Bama: 11

National Titles
UGA - 2
Bama- 0

SEC Titles
UGA- 2
Bama- 2

I've got news for you buddy. By pretty much any objective measure, UGA is the superior program at the moment.

Georgia will rush the field if/when they beat Bama at home. Despite all the bravado here and the fact that they are the premier program in the conference right now, Bama still owns something over Georgia's psyche...and you know it.

I’ll just be happy with a win, which always seems to be questionable to damn near impossible the last decade or so.

How many times have they seen Georgia actually beat Alabama in their lifetimes?

That said, you guys are ranked higher than us. It would insanely weird if you rushed the field after beating someone ranked lower.

Honestly, I still question this team's toughness, mentally and physically.

Georgia on the road is definitely a challenge. Historically, Alabama is the top program in all of college football, and will be long after we're all gone, but there's no denying Georgia is the top SEC team in the here and now. I predicted a 10-2 season and making the cfp in the summer...with one of those losses being at UGA. Didn't have the other being FSU. Lose now and we'll need to run the table. Not saying a 3 loss team from the SEC can't make the cfp, but it would definitely be a debate.

We have won 8 of 9 vs Georgia but I doubt it.

They aren't starved for wins like Tennessee.

Georgia can't beat Alabama is the national narrative. Even though you have accomplished more this decade, you've only beaten them once.

I know, Michigan.
