I don't see Baylor at 5 with losing Petty and their defensive issues.

Oregon will be top 5 even without Mariota.

1. OSU
2. TCU
3. Oregon
4. Bama
5. Michigan State?

I think Auburn has a chance to be pretty good next year, but we don't deserve to be in the top 15 in the preseason poll after the way we finished this year

It will be interesting to see how many SEC teams are even in the preseason bowl after this SEC west bowl debacle.

Why does it matter? Bama was #1 last week and got arse pounded by Ohio State.

Bama loses Sims, Yeldon, Cooper, and two Offensive lineman. We saw how not having a great QB will kill you last night. I think Bama will have some growing pains.

The SEC will still have 4-5 preseason top 25 teams next year. They'll all just be probably 2-3 spots lower than they would have otherwise.

Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia.

All should be preseason top 25 next year.

LSU and Missouri has a chance to be as well.

You'll have a bunch in the others receiving votes too (Arkansas, A&M, etc.)

Alabama is a top ten team next year. More QB production could lead to more. I see a 10-2 regular season right now.

You think that a true freshman DT is going to sway voters into voting TCU above OSU, when OSU has 4 highly ranked DTs on its roster?

You really just hate Ohio State, as I've seen. But at least try logic

A lot of people overlook the importance of having a favorable schedule in these polls. Alabama's schedule will be tougher next year imo. Auburn has basically the same schedule we rode to the SEC championship and an appearance in the national title game in 2013. One of the positives we have going into next year

The top 2 (OSU and TCU) are pretty much set in stone. After that who knows.

I think regardless of the title game Ohio State is #1 next year.

Obviously if they win it, but even if they lose I still them at #1 next year to start, and probably deservedly so.

won't be top 5 and we shouldn't be. but, since we're in the SEC we certainly have the opportunity to play our way in.
