Preparing for the worst

As I contemplate Clemson’s imminent defeat to LSU in the NC -some points to consider:
1. Clemson is a significant underdog in the NC for the fourth time in five years
2. Clemson is playing an away game in LSUs home state with expected 80-20 fan advantage
3. Clemson is having to play the GOAT college football team in the NC for the third time in four years
4. Clemson is facing the most prolific offense in the history of college football directed by the GOAT QB.
5. 2019 Clemson is one of the youngest teams in college football and still made the NC game
There is no shame in taking our lumps to such an awe inspiring team on Monday ...but just imagine if lil’ ol Clemson slays Goliath once again...? Much to ponder.

Your coach and Clemson fans have a serious victim mentality. A few points.....
1. Your team is 29-0
2. Your team is defending National Champions
3. Your team has the best DC according to sports media.

Your team is not an underdog, and the “poor lil ole Clemson” crap is getting really old. If you truly believed in your team you would think LSU had no chance of winning.

1. I wouldn’t classify -5.5 as a significant underdog.
2. Most people are predicting around 60% to 65%.
3. Hard to really compare across eras, but beating 5 teams (assuming that we win) that finish in the top 10 is impressive.
4. GOAT passing season is true.
5. Cool beans.
The only thing I’m left ponderin’ is if there is a whinier fan base than Clemson. I can’t think of any.
