So much Okie hate when I tell them to prepare their anuses for Tennessee

I seriously hope I'm wrong because if it's close, then Tennessee won't be making the playoffs. But, I'm usually not wrong about these things.

OU has to handle a speed air raid full of very good skill players. It’s gonna be a good game. Probably like playing an Art Briles type offense with better players. But I expect OU to match.

In all seriousness, it'll be a great game. I'm looking forward to it.

It's not air raid at all. It's exactly the same offense baylor ran when they had track athletes pretending to be WRs a few years ago. The two offenses aren't remotely similar.

Tennessee is not an air raid team one bit tho. Heupel’s entire MO is running the ball effectively while keeping you spaced out on the perimeter. If you drop 6 into coverage, he’s fine gashing you all game on the ground and throwing WR screens to lull the defense to sleep.

Once the defense starts creeping up in the box, Tennessee goes for the kill shot. It’s all about efficiency. Nico isn’t throwing the ball 40 times per game. He’s only like 6th in total passing yards in the SEC yet he’s 7th nationally in yards per attempt

If spreading you sideline to sideline in an empty set is a play in their book when the yardage is manageable, I will call it an air raid. And they run hurry up. And just like Kiffin, Heup will run the same play 4 times consecutively if you can’t stop it, even if it goes for 6-8 yards every time. It starts compounding into issues. I say just blitz the hell out of Nico early, and if that doesn’t work, go back to rushing 4 and play fundamentally strong. Idk tho. I been drinking.

There’s no chance Tennessee loses.

That's just dumb.

Maybe ask your wife to come in and comment for you.

You do know it's a quick snap and throw, RIGHT?

Then the defense can't get to him.

He is also mobile and can read defenses.

We now can implement slants down the middle of the field so with our receivers so now have to deal with speed.

Their defense hasn't been tested because OU has been playing against bottom barrel offenses, which they struggled against at times. That's why these cupcake games were so close.

I think Tennessee wins, in a close game or by 2 scores on the road. But as stated by Sooners, on paper they already won so you guys must be toast.

They probably won because he played hours in front of the screen playing NCAA '25 beating the sh!t out of Tennessee several times.

Just kidding around.

I honestly am not sure what to think about this game. We've seen hyped up QB's like Elway come here and wreck shop, but far more often we've ruined their Heisman hopes. The OU front 7 will get to Nico, the question there is how does he respond. On the other side, OU has speed at WR but can the OL/TEs give Arnold the time to exploit the Tennessee secondary? Those are the matchups I'm looking forward to.

This game could come down to special teams, which nobody's talking about

I think Tennessee wins 31-24. Close game. See Nico against an actual team and not just practice.

31-17 TENN

OU's D holds for a good chunk of the game but Tennessee has more fire power. I don't trust Arnold or OU offense as much.

Venables will dial up something for Nico,I want to see if Oklahoma can hang or if Tennessee is for real. Loser is behind the 8 ball.
