what evidence have you seen that makes you think muschamp has what it takes to be a P5 head coach(esp. in the SEC ) ? don't get me wrong,i hope y'all sign him to a long term deal ASAP. heck, start the go fund me page for " booms " contract extension and I will contribute.

He had 3 years following a total disaster that was left for him to clean up at Florida in his first gig as a HC at a P5 school.

Skip forward and he is in the exact same situation at SC where he has had to clean up the mess left in Spurrier's wake.

Now examine these facts. Muschamp's record at Carolina in his first 3 years is better than Spurrier's was in his first three years. This last recruiting cycle had a higher average composite score than any recruiting class Spurrier ever signed while here including the classes with Clowney and Lattimore. You can also throw in the fact that Muschamp, in the SEC, has basically the exact same record as Dabo, in the ACC, when you compare their first three years at our university compared to yours respectively.

You're discounting and dismissing him far too quickly imho.

Instead of going game by game I will just say dismal.

5-7 to 8-4 is probably a best case/worst case scenario.

If USC goes 5-7 there will probably be rumblings of regime change and it could impact their recruiting class. 7-5 would give them momentum heading into next year.

5-7 or 7-5 I believe. Either way Boom is doing a good job. He had absolutely NOTHING to work with when he arrived. Consistently brought in good classes and 2020 is shaping up nicely if it holds up.

Idgaf if we win eleven games or if Clemson wins another natty. Give me nine wins and a good showing in a bowl consistently. That’s it. I’m good. My life doesn’t revolve around them and well, I remember the fat Brad and early Lou years.

Those were the worst. I just want respectability year in and year out.

Besides, seriously who are we getting if we fire Boom? Get real. The grass isn’t always greener.
