Anything less than 8-4 with this schedule and Pinkel should go. The expectation levels should be that Vandy and Ole Miss should be wins, which coupled with UT, UK and 4OOC gives you 8 wins. That should be expectations at this point, not necessarily reality. Reality is you are pretty spot on and we'll be lucky to go 6-6. At this point Indiana and UT aren't givens either.

0-12
You would think it based on threads from this place.
Reality.... 14-0

Since no changes are probably going to be made to the LSU offensive coaching staff and the turnover on the defensive side of the ball, I would say 8-4/9-3.

With Bama's schedule they should be in the NC game every year. For example the last few years they have played 2 teams. This year they played 2 teams again. Lsu & A&M lost 1 & should have lost the other. Also should have lost to GA. They did not play anyone from the east. No FLA.,GA or South Carolina. And next season they play KY> & Vandy. WOW! Did the SEC comm. go to Bama because some one is helping with their pussy schedule!

The jump from year 1 to year 2 under freeze is going to be pretty crazy. Last season he only installed half of the play book and was limited even more because everyone was so young. Bo almost broke Eli's yardage record with a separated shoulder he just had surgery on the day after the bowl. Healthy Bo + all the returning starters + a year of practice and games = REEBBBBSSSS SSTTAACCKKEEDD PIGS FFRRIICCKKEEdD
With Tyler, Knile, and Cobi all back and Petrino's brother calling plays we will still have an extremely potent offense. The Cotton Bowl showed how good we can be on D with a competent coordinator and I fully expect this to be the best Arkansas defense we've had since '06. JLS will keep consistency with coaching and players. Ole Miss is an absolute dumpster fire with NO talent ANYWHERE. You have a first year high school girls basketball head coach, how could you even imagine that you could come within 21+ of us?
Do you see what I did there? Do you see it? I don't think you do.

7-5 with a bowl win
We did that this year, and we should have won more games than that. 9-4 is my bet.

This is stupid, if you take the past year into account. Vandy isn't a should be win for almost anyone, and Ole Miss has come a long way with a very short roster. With Freeze destroying the recruiting trail, I don't see how the status of your coach/team has to do with Ole Miss being a should be win. They aren't even a sure win for LSU; why would they be for mizzou?

Rice: W
SHSU: W
Bama: W (Saban humiliates himself by trying cramps, but not even cramps work)
SMU: W
The fighting Bielemas: W
Ole Miss: l
Auburn: W
Vandy: W
UTEP: W
MSU: W
LSU: Toss up
Mizzu: W
10-2 or 11-1
i suspect vandy and auburn will be games also, but those coaches haven't seen us yet, we get the edge. mizzou will be better next year.

I never said Vandy and Ole Miss were gimme's or crap programs. In fact, I said I think we lose to both Vandy and Ole Miss. At the same time, while I respect your programs, I also think that if Mizzou wants to show any improvement in the SEC they have to win both of those games. Personally, I just don't think they will and Mizzou will end up 6-6 or 5-7 again next year and that will cost Pinkel his job.

Best Case: aTm goes 1 – 13… wins one OOC and loses all SEC games.
Worst Case: aTm goes 4 – 8. Wins all OOC and loses all SEC games.
Unlike other SEC coaching staffs, Kevin Sumlin and his staff have no history of improving a team year over year.
Unlike other SEC schools, aTm does not know how to develop players nor can they recruit quality players since big brother will get all of the quality recruits in Texas. aTm losses (players and coaches) from the 2012 team will just be too great for them to overcome.
aTm offense will not be able to score against any SEC team in 2013.
aTm wins the first game of the season against Rice in shootout as Rice has no pass defense. aTm scores more points that game than they do during SEC conference play (combined).
aTm was a gimmick offense and a one trick pony. All SEC coaching staffs will have had a full year to figure out the aTm offense and JFF. aTm lost their OC, their starting left tackle and center, numerous receivers, and JFF will now be a sophomore that will not be able to handle the pressure of being the reigning Heisman winner. Therefore JFF is fricked.
In game two of the season, against Bama, JFF is sacked 10 times in the first half with the last sack resulting in multiple broken ribs, a concussion, and the breaking of both arms and legs in the biggest blindside sack ever in a college game. Not only is he out for the rest of the season but he announces that he is quitting the team and leaving the team to pursue a career in Hollywood as the lead in Scooby Doo 2. Having no backup quarterback worth a darn, aTm must now rely on their run game without JFF.
Fortunately for aTm their 2012 running back coach is now the OC. Unfortunately for aTm they don’t have any running backs that can run against SEC caliber defensive front sevens. aTm offense is now totally fricked for the rest of the year except in their OOC games which are now all toss-ups.
aTm defense is now bitch slapped by every SEC offense they play.
All of the other SEC schools bringing back most of their offense and reload with even better players than they had last year. aTm has no strength and conditioning and aTm loses all of its decent defensive players (daMonster, Nealy, Porter, Stewart, Terrell, and Harris). aTm has no history of being able to replace players. aTm front seven is now too weak to stop SEC old man football. aTm is also too slow to cover any receivers and makes all opposing quarterbacks look like Heisman candidates.
With the aTm offense now sputtering the defense finds themselves on the field for over 20 minutes in the first half of every game after the Rice game. In conference play after halftime, aTm get no stops ever including when other SEC team put in their 2nd and third stringers.
However aTm special teams might improve in 2013 but probably not.
aTm has a new STC and is therefore mostly fricked for 2013. aTm will not be able to find someone to replace Harris on punt returns. However they won’t need to as opposing SEC teams will never have to punt. aTm returns their number one kickoff returner and he will get so much work returning kicks that even though the STC is new he and the rest of the kickoff return team should be able to improve. aTm field goal kicker will miss fewer extra points and field goals in 2013. This is only because he will have fewer attempts as aTm will rarely cross midfield let alone make a touchdown. aTm should have a higher percentage of kickoffs not returned since the kicker will not be overly used during any game thereby saving his leg strength for the few times he does get to kickoff.
Worst Case: aTm goes 4 – 8. Wins all OOC and loses all SEC games.
