Florida is probably my favorite game every year for some reason. shite always happens and as a kid during the Spurrier years, I never thought I’d see the day where we’d beat Florida 5 seasons in a row.

There's no way Stricklin fires Napier this year unless Napier turns into a drunk and slaps some coed or something. Buyout is high, Lagway is the future and they don't want him to transfer. If anyone gets fired, it's Stricklin. But, they just gave him an extension and a raise, so he's probably going to be around for a while as well.

Several years from now. He will continue to lead UF to mediocrity and win just enough to be tolerated.

What?! No, it wasn't the best team in the history of the program. LSU has better talents and BK has been HC for a long time. Drinkwitz just started to get better recruits a year before and now with NIL and transfer portal rule change the recruiting class for 2025 is looking to be the best ever for the football program. That is what is missing in order to compete with the top teams regularly. One recruiting class will not do it. In a couple of years, the roster should be a lot better and be ready to compete regularly against top teams.

Do you plan on allowing the AD to survive if that's the case? It would seem to me he's the one who keeps making these hires and he's the one that has the gators playing 3 Power-4 OOC games.

Sunbelt Billy goes 7-5 and gets a 5 year extension.
EDIT. I just looked at UFs schedule. Yeah, Sunbelt Billy is gone. There may be 2 wins on that schedule. 3 would be a stretch. There are at best 5 games on that schedule that UF may be competitive in. Was hoping Sunbelt Billy could win enough to keep the Gators miserable but looks like his time in Gainesville is fo sho 'nuf up.....

That is not entirely out of the question. If Sunbelt billy manages that and somehow manages to get 2 more out of the rest of that schedule he should be given 3 more years. going 2-3 in the last 5 of that schedule could be close to what a winning CFP team looks at in the post season....

I think you are misremembering. Gator fans haven't been happy with a hire since Meyer. We have had to settle. Now I am sure there were a few UF fans who tried to troll LSU fans in the meantime, but there were some LSU fans clamoring to hire Napier. So let's not forget that LSU's main rivals are other LSU fans.
