Idk what the protocol is. I know an X-ray doesn't tell you anything about soft tissue injuries. I know subjective pain doesn't tell you about the severity of an injury.

But who knows, maybe just exaggerated reporting?

One thing we can absolutely, positively rule out for sure: someone trying to move the line.

I think this is going to be a lot closer than people are going to like. Their defense is tough so I’m expecting a slugfest.

Mateer isn't super accurate so air raid could be a clusterfrick.

Our DL needs to contain his arse. I don’t like dropping back everyone into coverage and giving him green grass.

I think they are tough.
But if their offense is as bad as I hope, then I think their defense will wear down. They have injuries to key players at all 3 levels of the defense.

It may be a Ohio State type meltdown in the second half.

I think we cover.

If that is true, hopefully Kirby and co will be ready for a halftime adjustment. Could see a close game at half.

Will need Gunner to continue to be successful against the blitz. Need pass catchers to win the route quickly. Hopefully our run game shows up too.

Radically changing your offensive scheme during a single game week is a recipe for disaster. If OU does something substantially different on Saturday, they've been working on it for months. Which is possible. Teams do prepare and save things for Georgia because everybody wants to beat Kirby, and Venables desperately needs a feather in his cap.

If it works, it works. Especially against that defense.
