LSU, with their "greatest team ever", barely beat a weakened Alabama team by 5, Alabama will win by 21 in Tiger Stadium this year.

Alabama also had their best quarterback ever and four future NFL receivers and an NFL back.
LSU got burned twice on long touchdowns and literally gave Waddle a punt return touchdown and still never trailed in the game.
