If you deny our DL slaughtered your OL in that game then you're the biggest homer on the planet.

You have an extremely good pass rushing DL and it will definitely have it's moments. Mason is going to get trucked more than once.

But only an ACC team would claim that a DL "slaughtered" an OL that scored 35 points on them at home.

Clemson had 4 sacks and butchered our tackles on one drive in particular when UGA struggled with the snap count early. Also had the pick, but when you give up 545 yards and 222 rushing yards, your DL didn't slaughter anybody.

They also had an INT and a forced fumble and recovery.

I'm really sorry you continue to struggle with the notion that 4 out of 11 position players could dominate in disgusting fashion while a unit of 11 total players could still give up a lot of yards.

Do you deny that the St Louis Rams have a dominant defensive line yet their defense overall isn't elite?

This isn't that hard a concept.

Gurley had over 150 yards while injured

You're pass defense is great, you're rush defense well not so much

that's why I said "Also had the pick"

A defensive line that's slaughtering the OL damn sure doesn't let the backs get to the second level that much.

Clemson's DL made several standout plays against Georgia's OL. They did not "slaughter" them over the course of the whole game. Georgia wouldn't have been able to move the ball otherwise.

very good, but not dominant. A dominant line dominates the game, by definition.

Well, then who the hell cares if your DL dominates while UGA is putting up tons of points and yardage

UGa seems like the safe pick:

- UGa is playing at home;
- Clemson has won twice in Athens during the last 99 years;
- Vegas has UGa favored by 7.5
- Clemson's offense lost not only significant production from last year's squad, but also significant leadership;
- UGa's new DC had good success shutting down Morris' offense in the FSU/Clemson game last year;
- Clemson will need great performance from Stoudt to win the game; UGa doesn't need their 5th year senior to win the game - simply hand the ball off and let Gurley and Co. wear down the Clemson defense;
- Clemson barely beat UGa last season at home. UGa is a better team this year than last. Clemson is not.

I think Clemson wears down as the game goes on and we make it a two score game late.

I dont think Georgia will have an answer for Clemson's defensive line, but i do think that having Jeremy Pruitt will pay huge dividends in this game. Both teams have questions at Qb despite what UGA fans care to admit.

Could go either way. I'll go with the home team

That's all well and nice but you're forgetting that Clemson's defense is good or something.

This.

Clemson could have one of the best Ds in the country... and with Morris running the offense, I don't see why they should take a huge step back or anything.

UGA by 7 tho.
