No because you said something that's not realistic in the slightest, I said Auburn won't win 8 games next year, which is perfectly reasonable.
"No Chance" is reasonable?
08/31 – Washington State.. AU will be favored - should win
09/07 – Arkansas State.. AU will be favored - should win
09/14 – Mississippi State.. If AU has looked ok in the first 2 games, they will be favored - should win
09/21 – at LSU.. LSU took alot of losses. If both teams are 3-0 at this point, LSU will be favored. should lose
09/28 – Open Date
10/05 – Ole Miss.. Again, this will depend on how the teams have played up to this point. If AU is 3-1 with a competitive loss AT LSU, this will be a pickem or AU slightly favored - should win at home
10/12 – Western Carolina.. will win
10/19 – at Texas A&M.. on the road vs Johnny Football - should lose. we're at 5-2 now
10/26 – Florida Atlantic.. will win
These next two games will probably define Auburn's season...
11/02 – at Arkansas.. really no telling how these two teams will match up at this point in the season with so many unknowns. For the sake of argument... AU wins
11/09 – at Tennessee.. *see Arkansas
11/16 – Georgia.. even though we get them at home, UGA will have gelled by this point. AU loses
11/23 – Open Date
11/30 – Alabama..probably the only unwinable game on the schedule. Too much talent deficit to compete with them this year.
"No Chance"... is not perfectly reasonable.

Breaking point in your season IMO. If y'all are 3-1 going into this game and win things are looking up and should probably have a good shot to beat both bUTchUg & tFagship. BUT, if y'all lose I think the downward spiral begins and it will be hard to win the aforementioned games if those teams are playing well.

AU has a bye week before OM as well. Best case 3-1 with two weeks to get reay for a home game hopefully will pay off.

I pretty much agree except I would flip WSU and ASU, I think Auburn wins both though.
Gus shouldn't have a problem with Arky St. He knows all about them. Arky St.'s new HC was the Co-OC at Texas last year. He'll have some growing pains.

Auburn has been playing football for 120 years. They fielded their 2 worst defenses IN THEIR HISTORY the past 2 seasons. This after a national title and multiple top 10 crootin classes. Now all of the sudden, ellis johnson is going to change that in a matter of months....NO.
Toughest conference in cfb and toughest division in cfb. Not happening. 5-7 in this rebuilding year with no qb.

Any defense that has to depend on Jake Holland at LB is facing a world of uncertainty. Poor kid gives it all he got, it just isn't good enough in a conference like the SEC.

Yep. Big pivot point in the schedule one way or the other assuming the first several games go to the favorite (AU in all but the LSU game).

This will definitely make this a dog fight but I'm worried about Gus & Hugh being good friends who knows how this game will turn out.

and ole miss has a road game in tuscaloosa the week before coming to auburn... i don't think it's a sure thing by any stretch, but it sets up well for us.
Ole Miss hasn't won in Auburn since Eli Manning, I believe.

I bet this game is a lot like 2009...without the paralysis.

That is the main reason why I am worried about this game in truth. Of course being a homer I think we will be the better team when playing y'all but Ole Miss playing football in the state of Alabama always scares me, why I supported y'all when you wanted Auburn moved into the Georgia state borders.
This game will probably be a shootout since we will more than likely be coming off an emotionally charged game against the gumps @Bama for the second time. That bye week will really help you prepare.
I still think our offense will be to much for you to overcome and we win 7-10 points in a close game.

Home field has to count for something - FWIW, I think UT will start their climb back up this year. They are my sleeper pick.
