Four could happen, but you're kidding yourself if you think six is the ceiling.

No I just think it's very unlikely to happen ...

But then again for example Ole Miss can go to Jordan-Hare and shite the bed, like that hasn't ever happened before lulz, and walk away with a loss. Honestly though its not like we play well there either.

So yeah y'all CAN win more but I just think six is realistic more is slightly wishful thinking.

Plus is Frazier still the QB? If so I rest my case...

And why do you care if I care? It's a sports message board, try discussing sports on it.

I was just wondering if you had a reason like a ceiling of 8 wins implicitly means he believes Auburn will beat Arkansas. If that was what you were saying, I was going to ask you how you thought they matched up. It appears you haven't really thought it out and aren't really interested in discussing anything. Just being petulant.

Because he's calling people idiots that say Auburn's ceiling is fewer than 8 wins. That's ludicrous.

Arky probably has a lot more talent than most think. They were a 9 or 10 win team last year with a capable coach. I'm sure they have some offensive talent left behind from Petrino and Bielema will turn the defense around.

they've completely changed up that offense though. It's now a power running scheme and they've lost both of their best RB's and their QB.

I've heard Gus has been beyond disappointed with his QB's on campus this spring.

would not be surprising. They don't have Marshall or Johnson yet.

They have Jonathan Wallace and Kiehl Frazier and then walk-ons.
quote:

Lashlee said quarterbacks Kiehl Frazier and Jonathan Wallace have been "very inconsistent with their accuracy." And when it comes to the fast-pace offense, "neither one of them are processing the information fast enough. I need them to process the information quicker.

"We've got to improve at a quicker pace."

Lashlee, who has said he's in no rush to name a starting quarterback, didn't indicate he'd have one now, or maybe at the end of spring.

"I don't see at this point where we say 'this guy' is the starter. Right now, I don't see a lot of separation," Lashlee said.

That Wash. St. / AU game should be an interesting shootout.

Everyone has Ole Miss as a certain loss for AU. While they certainly could win, they were a very average team last year playing in Auburn this year.

Frazier will not be the QB next year unless something drastic changes. NM is being brought in to start until (hopefully) Jeremy Johnson can develop into our guy for the "long" term.

Arkansas has no chance of having a winning season in the SEC west again. Open your eyes. Does this work for me too?

No because you said something that's not realistic in the slightest, I said Auburn won't win 8 games next year, which is perfectly reasonable.

Freeze has really turned things around in Oxford. I don't expect that to change this year and think they will improve from last year.

So you're saying you think Auburn could go from 3 wins to 8 wins because "talent." Sorry, I'm not buying it, AU was talented the past two years and you sucked.

Two years ago we won 8 games, so I am not seeing your logic.
After our last losing season, we brought in Malzahn we went 8-5, 14-0 (big assist by Cam), and 8-5...

Chizik made a huge mistake slowing down Malzahn, so he left, the result was 3-9.

Well in that case y'all we be vastly improved because he was terrible ...

But IMO AU will probably see a better turn around than bUTtchUg & tFlagship. I also believe that the OM vs AU game will be a dogfight but Freezus will find a way to get the W.

You are one big sunshine pumper. Auburn may very well win 8 or more games, but there isn't a shred of evidence that they will. You have a depth deprived roster with boat loads of over-hyped players that have to be redeveloped and reprogrammed. You're coming off a 3-9 season in which you weren't even competitive. Even when you were 8-5 in 2011, you were blown out in every loss. I just don't see where Auburn wins more than 6.

So you're seriously asking if I have a reason for believing Auburn won't win 8 games next year? Come on Rick.

I pretty much agree except I would flip WSU and ASU, I think Auburn wins both though.

Two years ago you were coming off an NC.

This year you're coming off a winless season in the Sec. It's going to take more than a few talented players to get back to 8 wins.

Basing this solely on recent history, I think the most likely steal victory for AU is Georgia. Your games with them have that rivalry, always close, entertaining, throw the records out,

Using 7 years as recent history....
UGA leads 6-1...

2012/11/10 Georgia 38 - Auburn 0 W
2011/11/12 Georgia 45 - Auburn 7 W
2010/11/13 Georgia 31 - Auburn 49 L
2009/11/14 Georgia 31 - Auburn 24 W
2008/11/15 Georgia 17 - Auburn 13 W
2007/11/10 Georgia 45 - Auburn 20 W
2006/11/11 Georgia 37 - Auburn 15 W

TTL points...UGA-244 (34.9 pts)......Aub-128 (18.3 pts)

I like UGA's chances...
