Auburn loses a ton. Idk if they should even be ranked.

Missouri, Mississippi State and Georgia will all be better than Auburn and Tennessee

top 25 defense with 4 shooters who shot over 40% from 3 last year.

I think Watford is better than Naz.
As long as Kentucky doesn’t win I’m good

Thought Tennessee would be higher, I thought they signed a 5* player?
I know they lost the flopper but the team didn’t lose everyone.

Down vote all you want but LSU should be just as good as last year, maybe better.

They won't even finish in the top 4 of the SEC.

I’m fine with OM getting no official preseason hype. We need to fly under the radar as long as possible.

Can’t wait.

#3 vs #4 on at 7:00est followed by #1 vs #2 at 9:30est. What a good opening day of basketball, on a Tuesday too

I would be shocked if UGA is better than Tennessee or Auburn. They were awful last season and lost Claxton. Edwards is a stud, but we've seen how successful high lottery picks are when they have limited supporting casts at schools without winning cultures. Just doesn't seem like a recipe for success. The rest of that class will help them down the line, but I would be floored if they jump and pass Auburn and Tennessee.

Making the tourney would be a very nice accomplishment for Crean with that group.

Signed a 5* but he is not an immediate lotto pick type talent. Probably a 2-3 year guy.

Williams was one of the 3 best players in the country last year by almost any metric and Schofield and Bone were all league guys who got drafted. Alexander was a 4 year starter at center. Very tough to replace that if you aren't signing a handful of top 10-15 recruits.

Bowden, Turner, James is a very nice backcourt but they will need a lot of development from the other guys to do any real damage.

Forgot y’all lost Schofield. That hurts.
But my intentions here were not a troll. I figured Tennessee would be tough again.

Lost a ton, but replacing the starters with upperclassmen that played a lot. McCormick, Doughty, Purifoy, McClemore, and Wiley are all seniors that played. Isaac Okoro will probably start and he's been getting great reviews so far as a freshmen. I expect some drop off for sure, but not off a cliff.

Tell me why? I’m really curious
We lost our pure point guard, but added more scorers and Watford has been as advertised.
Maybe I’m not seeing it.
But I am a fan after all

It seems like a lot of LSU fans don't realize how big of a loss KBW will be. There isn't anyone on the team that replaces what he could do. LSU will definitely have to play a different style of basketball this year to win big games. Luckily we have a damn strong coach.

I understand. I think losing both Williams and Bone to the draft was a little surprising to Barnes and they didn't recruit well enough in the last class for the roster to maintain top 10 good.

The upcoming class will be the best in school history though with 3 of the top 35 players in the country currently committed (pending Springer making it official) and a couple more spots left. Should be back in the top 15 next year.
