How you feel about your KJ Williams chances?
Would have to think pretty high considering his coach came here but with the NCAA uncertainty and how long they will probably take to determine any punishment could fend off guys like him as well. Murray St has a number of guys in portal and it wouldnt surprise me at all if we ended up with 2-3 of them. High up on the list is Williams and Hill and I bet Hannibal and Burns arent far behind there. Tevin Brown is another guy from there we'd take a look at if he hit the portal.

Hill has had an interesting journey and have no doubt he will drop 30 on us if/when he plays us.

Yeah if LSU gets Williams and Hill to go with the big from nwst then the rebuild is canceled and we are right back in contention. If he gets those transfers and somehow convinces 2 or 3 of Miller, Pinson, Murray, Wilkinson, Gaines, Fudge or Reid to stay the LSU could make legitimate noise next year. Big if’s I know but things are at least looking up.

I wish, we are going to need probably 5-6 guys from the portal to have a semblance of a competitive team next year.
Kenneth Lofton is a guy I really really want from LT. He declared for NBA maintaining his eligibility and had a goodbye note for LT fans basically so I'm hoping this means he hits the portal. That dude is an absolute load.

We simply don’t know that yet. We could still return any combination out of Pinson, Murray, Miller, Gaines, Fudge, Reid, or Wilkinson. 2-3 of those plus 3-4 transfers and you have a very solid rotation. And I didn’t mean Final four contention just tournament contention.

We are going to lose a number of guys, dont kid yourself. A lot of these guys were loyal to Wade and with some type of ban potentially upcoming a lot will be out.

And just like that Jerrell Colbert makes #4 to enter the portal for us
Posted on 3/29/22 at 1:41 pm to thunderbird1100
Oh we will definitely lose some or
most but just 2-3 staying could happen and would be huge for the program. And like others have said the way punishments have been handled lately have leaned more towards the individual coaches and not the teams so they might be able to convince some guys to stick around based on that.

Yes, went to JUCO, then Murray state. Had a very good season this year. Averaged 13.4 points, 5.1 assists, less than 2 turnovers. Shot 36% from 3.

Man Colbert’s recruiting was frustrating. When he committed to LSU during his junior year he was ranked like the #10 prospect in the country and a 5 star. When he arrived on campus he had dropped to the 134th ranked prospect. We got catfished lol

Our best shooter sat and watched the whole season due to surgery. One of the elite players in he country sat our bench and watched because Cal thought it best.
If they were to come back (Fredrick/Sharpe), and Tshiebwe returns with Toppin, Ware, Brooks, Wheeler, and the 2 legit 5* players Livingston and Wallace.
Add a transfer or two, and we should be just fine.

He is seriously thinking about returning? I dont know how he gets any better for the NBA frankly
I know his game isn't really NBA-like, but the dude just had one of the most dominant seasons for sure.

Pretty much everyone expected Colbert and Ezewiro to transfer whether Wade was here or not. Neither played at all really this season.

I was shocked he had to go to JUCO. He was salty in HS and if I remember right was blazing fast

He didn't have to but it was kind of an awkward spot when Mike was let go.
He was barely a top 400 player on the composite, his height really held him back.
Glad to see he is doing well though.
