I’m as big a posibammer as anyone and i’ll be cheering my arse off. However, what in the world gives you guys any confidence we can win besides we’re bama and nick is god and shite like that. We have sucked out loud the last quarter of the season with the trend looking like a downward death spiral. Injuries have killed us on defense and continue to mount, sdh ain’t walking through that door.

Our offense has been pathetic against teams with a pulse since midseason, and getting worse with each week. No commitment to the run, no giving runningbacks a chance to get in the groove. I Almost had as many carries against auburn as harris. Hurts almost never runs north and south anymore but floats east and west down the los, occasionally breaking a run, but mostly firing it out of bounds.
This is saban’s worst job as a coach since he’s been here. Horrible team chemistry. The auburn game has been pushed in the background as we backed into the playoffs, but that was a level of coaching that makes shula look like knute rockne.

So all of this is gonna magically turn around because we had a couple of extra weeks to practice? Or just because we’re bama? Cue up the glitter and unicorns because we’re gonna play exactly like we have the last quarter of the season, and that ain’t gonna be good enough. Our only, and i mean only chance is to start tua, give the team new energy and maybe get a few first downs for the defense to rest. I don’t believe saban will do it though, so after we get crushed i’ll be pulling for uga.

Clemson is not as overwhelming as some seem to think. I would not be shocked at all if Alabama wins the game.

Feels like Bama people are downplaying expectations to make it seem incredible if Bama wins. I can already see the gushing articles about the wizard of coaching Saban if he wins. It will be presented as though he won with a team the equivalent of Vanderbilt's roster.

Well the fact Alabama has had the top recruiting classes year in and year out for years Now. That's how I know Saban is not at developing talent or he would've won the title every year. Saban is not that good of a coach in my opinion, he's not a Spurrier. No way Saban could go to a school without a tradition of winning and win, only LSU and Bama where's it's easy to recruit and a history of winning.

If he went to a South Carolina, either Mississippii school, Arkansas, NC state, UNC, Virginia etc he wouldn't win shite

I'll let an LSU or Bama fan respond to the content of your post...

But just to hone in on the central thesis, you're saying that if Saban went to South Carolina, he would not do at least as well as Spurrier? Or are you saying that Spurrier was "not that good of a coach" either... Or are you saying that the measuring stick for "good coaches" at those programs should be creating a dynasty of multiple national and/or conference championships also?

I don’t know about that the fact he has his teams in position to win says it all and having top recruiting just ups odds in his favor. All four teams in playoffs have a shot and will come down to best gameplan and least mistakes. Cmon man he has surpassed spurrier awhile back.

The lack of intelligence that’s required to say something like “Saban isn’t that good of a coach” is amazing. Saban has LSU off and running to be a dynasty but he left before it could really get going; he went to Bama when they were way down, proceeded to turn them into a dynasty. LSU is an SEC blue blood because of Saban, he did not ride the school to success; he delivered the success. frick everything about Nick Saban but he took LSU from Good to Elite and he took Bama from bad to Dynasty.
