The FEMA budget is just under 21 billion. Ukraine was allocated over $110 billion at the start of the year and has gotten payments of at least 60 billion this year.
So can you show me where this money came from fema? That was the initial question here.
Yes money was appropriated for the Ukraine conflict but how was it taken from fema? These are 2 separate issues. Wasn’t this about FEMA money?
We all know Ukraine is getting assistance but it has nothing to do with fema. Show me where FEMA money is going to other things other than what it was allocated for.
Wait, nevermind, you can’t come up with anything so you divert to something else. The old trump method. Go on about your business, we’re done with this.

No that was not my original question.
This was:

What is the FEMA budget that's been given to disaster relief vs the money spent taking care of illegals and being laundered through other countries?
If you knew I was right all along, why did you sit here and demand proof when as I said to start with - the difference is so big it was meant as a rhetorical question.

FEMA’s current priority is keeping volunteers from assisting in western North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Virginia and eastern Tennessee.
They are going to be spread really thin if they are tasked with going to Florida and fricking up relief efforts there too.

It is in their mission statement.
quote:
FEMA is committed to helping all eligible disaster survivors influding U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals and qualified non-citizens. To qualify for FEMA assistance, you or a member of your household must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen U.S. national or qualified non-citizen. Undocumented families with diverse immigration statuses only need one family member who is a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national or qualified non-citizen who has a Social Security number to apply.
There is a FEMA app for immigrants in central and south America to use to coordinate their trip to U.S. How do you think all the Hatian immigrants got to the U.S.?
Do you think they bought their tickets? Do you think the airlines just donated those seats?
No, FEMA paid for them. If you are in another country, all you need is one family member in the U.S. to receive disaster relief. Even if you are in Haiti, Guatemala, or El Salvador.

That is from the FEMA website. They don’t even try to hide it.
Most people are just too stupid to realize what this means:
If one person has a social security number, FEMA will help their whole family regardless of where they live. Think about how big some families are. Then think about those same big families when you extend it out to cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins in all countries.
The FEMA mission statement and current policy allows for 99% of central and south America and the Caribbean to come to the U.S. to flee “disaster”. The only thing hindering them is they already spent their budget. That is why they say they don’t have money to help the people devastated by Helene and soon Milton.

Where does it say that? What they are talking about is who is eligible for assistance in a national emergency. Not flying people in to to be involved in it.

The declared Haiti a disaster. There is nothing that says the disaster has to be in the United States. And they don’t have to be U.S. citizens. That is why they have paid to transport what some estimate to be 5% of Haiti’s population to the United States the last few years. Where do you think that FEMA money came from? I mean, it came from their budget. But beyond that, it came from taxpayers. I think we have a right to be infuriated.

I see a bunch of responses, but I don’t see where you answered my question.
What do you think? They walked?

So the Trop, which was supposed to be the base camp for emergency responders once Milton clears out, had its roof taken out by the storm.

Reporting in from Lakeland. Power is back, wi-fi is back, and it could have been much worse.

Ummm, that does not look bad at all. It looks like it's just the tarp type roof that was probably designed to fall apart like that.

The people I know in Tampa all stayed and had no problems. They are a few miles inland.
