Tell them to watch the "A World Without Cancer" documentary, change their diet to keto/carnivore and start eating apricot pits.

My grandmother never smoked in her life yet got lung cancer. She survived that lived another dozen years. Do not give up hope.

I pray the Great Physician will heal your friend. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen

Lung cancer, yep, unfortunately I know it well. Took my beloved momma 8 years ago, just an indescribable pain. Prayers of healing and comfort to your friend and everyone who loves her.

I’m very sorry to hear that. I’ll pray for you. My great Aunt died of lung cancer and she never smoke either.

For some reason the doctor thought it was caused by radon, she lived in a old house and after checking it was way above the limit or high as hell.

my brother

I also pray for this OP and his/her friend. One of my top five friends from forty years is in chemo right now and I'd like to slide him into these prayers.

Wordless groans is fine.

God bless you all

Prayers. Just read this book, which was pretty great if you have not heard about it. Granted, the author is a {mortal} superhuman, but it has some interesting insights about the disease.

That's terrible and scary . Did they live with smokers or work in a bar/restaurant or place with a lot of smoke?

May God bless & keep them.

(The author of the book and a 55 year-old friend (nurse, wife of doctor) from Montgomery never smoked, always took care of themselves.

I bet if you take smoking out of the picture this is still a pretty common cancer.

Prayer works. Sometimes in ways we don’t expect. God hears our prayers and answers them according to his will.

I’ll be praying for Teresa, brother. At least daily. And when I do, I’ll be praying for you too. I encourage you to pray too and lay your burdens at the foot of the cross.

God bless you, brother.

I think her dad smoked, like most dads of that era.
