I have a hard time believing a team can go from .500 to better than OSU, OU, UTa, Baylor, etc.
Well, they are much better this year than they were last year, and last year they destroyed Baylor and beat Texas. When you consider they didn't have their starting QB, and had many players suspended multiple games last year, you understand why they struggled.

Until UGA wins a game they don't belong in the top tier and after losing this week they won't belong in the top half.

UGA would've been top 2 or maybe 3 preseason. Clemson is a good team. I think a close loss dropping them to number 6 is fair.

After actually reading what you wrote. I agree. My bad.

Agreed. Drop OM behind those two and the list will be correct.

BOOOOOOOO they beat UNC by less 17. Bama beat VTech by 25. I don't think UNC is better at all than VTech.
Aslo how is USC better than LSU?

Was the defensive front really that horrific or was it just the missing starters? Is Manziel becoming a distraction and too big for his own shoes or is it just media bashing? Time will tell, but for now a team that had the loftiest of preseason aspirations should certainly be concerned.
When you're running a 3-man front and your starting nose is suspended, it shows. Throughout much of the game, the young players were out of position and in the wrong gap. Alonzo Williams is a decent 3-tech, but he is COMPLETELY out of position at nose. Kirby Ennis was the anchor of the interior last year and it will show on Saturday when he's back. I think much of this will be fixed by Sam Houston and the complete rotation should be fully established by Alabama.
Claiborne, by far the best freshman on the field Saturday, has to grow up quickly, as Donnie Baggs is a decent outside linebacker but is not a quality signal caller in the middle. Since the light hasn't come on for Sanders yet and Askew is a complete waste, we'll have to rely on raw talent at the SAM position.
As far as Manziel, he's just the same as he was last year, only now the pantywaists at ESPN are whining about it.
Today, Dennis Dodd had an article basically calling for him to get critically injured during a game. Many sportswriters are angry at A&M because we refused to "accept our place as little brother" and dared to jump to the SEC without their permission.

They beat Oklahoma State? TCU was 7-6 last year for a reason.

48 to shite UNC
30 to a crap Miami.
They had a 7-6 record.
You do realize that in 2012, TCU was 7-6 and lost to Iowa State?

You're right. They were missing their starting QB and several other players were suspended some games.

You make excuses for the Aggie players being out, but completely ignore all the guys that TCU lost last year, including their starting QB for the entire season.
Imagine that.

Same starting QB who got pulled early 2nd half against LSU?
TCU was 4-0 with Pachall and a front-loaded schedule.
They only scored 20 points on Kansas BEFORE Pachall's DUI.
With Boykin, they scored 53 on Texas Tech (and lost)

Holy shite. Full retard.
I am fully in awe that anyone thinks that TCU's defense is even in the same ballpark as VeTech's. You are the one that is full retard. And its not debatable.

You're an idiot if you don't think TCU would have been better with Pachall last season. He was 9th rated QB in the entire NCAA in 2011 as a sophomore and surely would have provided more in the following season than Boykins was able to as a first year starter. I'm convinced aggy people really don't watch any other game besides A&M.

You're wrong. Va tech didnt have one all acc player on def. sorry. Tcu led the big 12 in def.
va tech plays in a worse conf and was ranked lower than tcu. The va tech team Bama played isn't the va tech from 5 years ago.

Still had the #1 def in the big 12. Va tech was 6-6 too in a worse conf
