Ha ha you're dumb. LSU finished 10-3 in the hardest conf in CFB and has recruited on an elite level for a decade.
Va tech finished 6-6 in a shite conference and is never in the top 10 in recruiting.
You suck at this.

What would the line be right now on TCU-Va.Tech at a neutral site? Just curious.
Do you think Va tech would be favored? Because they wouldn't.
It's funny how you gumps are talking up va tech now after calling them shite before hand.
Look Bama could end up being national champs, but after week one , you can't say they looked better than LSU.

Played 17 minutes; 6-8, 3 TDs, 0 Ints
Entered game with 7 point lead, left with 21 point lead.

I didn't miss anything. Being second in the west is the not the same as 4 th in a acc division.

1. LSU - Beat a team that will likely win the Big XII (IMO), and did it in more dominant fashion than the final score would indicate.
TCU finished like 7yh in the Big 12 last year. Why do you think they'll win the Big 12 this year? My guess is OU, OSU, tejas certainly finish ahead of TCU.

Why are we even comparing VT to TCU?
Bama won by 4 td's and the game was over by halftime. LSU won on the second to last possession in a tight game.
Yet LSU dominated more because stats?

most guru's have them at 4th in the west, behind Bama, TAMU, and OM

It's your power ranking. But no one but a Bama fan would say Bama looked better than LSU. Sorry.

I talked about him being a possible distraction and you posted stats. Brilliant.

Actually weve seen other fans with Bama number 1. Actually ONLY LSU fans would have lsu number one. And many of them agree with me. In fact only LSU fans have had a major problem with these rankings. Fact.
What does that tell you?
What does that tell you?

I would guess TCU would be a 7-10 point favorite.

South Carolina
Showed no major weaknesses. Lost a little steam in the second half, but a weather delay and having the game under control make that excusable.
quote:
Alabama
Offense was sluggish, but VT has a pretty good defense, even if their offense isn't very good. Bama needs to get better offensively, but no major red flags here.
quote:
LSU
Questions coming in were losses of personnel on defense and the progress of Mett. Both questions got pretty good answers. Some sloppiness kept the game closer than it should have been. The defense needs to get a little better, and it will.
quote:
Texas A&M
They did fine with a suspect defense last year. The offense still did well. How they'll perform against a real defense, we'll know a week from Saturday.
quote:
Ole Miss
Offense looks good, defense bad. Same as last year, but young talent has a lot of upside. They could improve defensively, but won't be a contender this year.
quote:
Georgia
Went into a hostile environment against a very good offensive team and gave up a lot of points in a close loss. It sucks for them and it puts a lot of pressure on them to beat South Carolina this week, but the sky is not falling in Athens.
quote:
Florida
They looked a little sluggish on offense, but great on defense. This is like any of their last few teams. They still look like a very good team.

Why are you arguing with Rickdaddy.
The power rankings are fine. As far as I'm concerned, the top 3 are pretty interchangeable right now and arguments can be made for any of them.
Stats are the most misleading shite ever, the only thing that matters is the final score, and Bama crushed VT.
