You guys weren't #1 in 2010 at CoMo?

Apparently you were the BCS #1, but not AP. Whatever. 0-18 seems like a familiar set of numbers for some reason...

Pitt and West Virginia are surprising given the good teams they had back in the 70s/80s.

These are the two that jumped out at me as well. I though Pitt had beaten number one Penn St in 81 but Penn St was not 1 and I thought WVU had beaten number one Pitt in l like 80 or so but Pitt wasn't one at the time.
Very surprising

The SEC gets a lot of opportunities to get off the snide. Hugh Freeze must have caught us in between #1s.

And Mizzou fans wonder why all their coaches came to LSU. Send Mizzou back to the Big 12.

If it makes you feel any better (it won't) you'd still be on the list in the OP even if yall won that game.

Nebraska was #1 in the coaches poll but #2 in the AP poll when that game was played.

I’m more bothered Utah has never played a #1 AP ranked team

WAC and Mountain West for the majority of their existence. Not many opportunities to play a #1 team.

Doubt they are going to get many chances in the B12 after Texas and OU leave.

Wow.

Some of those teams really don't get that many opportunities, but that's usually not the case in the SEC.

I wonder how many of Mizzou and Colorado's 27 games were against #1 AP teams were against Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Several, and our 5th down game vs. Colorado may have been one of our 18 losses, but not sure. The mid 80s-mid 90s saw many of those defeats if I had to guess.
