Sorry, forgot you were a bama fan.

Tier 1 jobs: Great location with excellent access to elite regional and national recruits; strong infrastructure and commitment from university and athletic administration; few financial limitations on assistant coach and staff hires; history as a top-5 program (recent or long term).

TIER 1: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, USC

You think ND makes the playoffs had they been in the SEC?

I think that's actually a perfect argument for Notre Dame being a better job right now.

I'm sure there are a lot of jobs more attractive than LSU right now because we have to play against Alabama every year.

Just look at Georgia's recent history in the SEC championship. You've been there 5 times in the last decade, and you won once. LSU sodomized Georgia both times you faced us. You got lucky drawing Auburn in 2017 and a Katrina-depleted LSU in 2005.

Despite all the resources and recruiting, Georgia is just a half-step above A&M.

I think you could argue UGA is the 2nd best job in the SEC. For me LSU, Florida and UGA are all right there. Alabama is number 1 right now but I’d argue once Saban is gone that job falls behind these. The pressure of being the guy after Saban will be as bad as it gets. That said, not sure there’s anyone who would turn that job down.

Kirby isn’t getting fired but if he did, James Franklin would kill it there. What he did at Vandy is still one of the most impressive things I’ve seen from a coach. Wouldn’t have to leave the state to land a top 7 class.

Why? UGA took bama to OT and who knows if Saban plays Tua in the SECC.

So?

That season was particularly rough on the LSU program, but fair enough.

You're using the same reasoning I was, just with worse evidence.

UGA - always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

Ok. If it was that bad, why play? Pretty sure it wasn’t UGA’s fault.

What does that have to do with the current conversation? Try to stay on topic.

I was just looking at your team's recent history in championship games. You have a lot of success getting there, just not so much in actually winning.

Nice deflection but go ahead and make the argument. It probably is easier to make the playoffs but that doesn't mean
they're closer to a NC.

As lot? No there isn't

Brilliant analysis.Always with 2 game LSU snapshot that you guys think define
the program.

What? Nobody got "lucky" drawing Auburn

Katrina-depleted LSU in 2005

Who didn't play because of Katrina? BTW,do you really want to talk about playing a "depleted" UGA team last year?

And 2 of those games were decided in the last minute.

Easily top 10 in the country and more of a top 5 job.

Has that ranking been updated since 1980?

That’s not what we’re talking about though... We’re talking about college football jobs.

Why would a new coach care about that? Some might see it as a plus.

If it’s what have you done for me lately is UGA really in the conversation?

OP created his handle 3 days ago and 90%+ of his posts are about UGA. I'd stop feeding the troll.

Here ya go. LINK LINK Top 5 job. LINK

I've linked 4 different articles that have UGA as a top 10 or top 5 job.

If you wanna just keep arguing be my guest but none of these articles are pushing some type of pro UGA agenda.
