I got a ticket from one at the Suntrust Bank drive up window on Broad Street in Athens for an expired tag in August 2001. Tag had been expired for 4 years LOL and that truck was in Athens, parked on the sidewalk and all over the streets, for those 4 years and it took a bike cop to catch it. I simply forgot about it. Court date was 9/11/01.

If I were an Athens PD officer and someone spit in my face I would whup their arse and if I could not whup their arse I would call for as many of my fellow officers as it took to whup their arse. This is why I am not and would never be an Athens or any other PD officer because what I would do and what a trained law enforcement officer representing the power of the state would do should not be one and the same thing. I know dam well I do not have the personal restraint required to be a cop....I'd shot somebody in about an hour on the job....that has nothing to do with what a professional representative of the state should do in a similar situation.
