No team vote even necessary imo. He was very respectful and cried or whatever so no punishment should be handed down.

He had a small amount of weed.

I get it. Its illegal and all.

But, JEEBUS...this is such a non-issue with me.

His "punishment" should be this ridicule and nothing else.

I wish the young man well...except against LSU

First off, he's only regretful because he got caught, as many have pointed out.

But do y'all really care that a college kid smokes? There should be zero punishment for this as long as he's a good kid.

Too bad they don't feel that way when everyday citizens get stopped.

Because he got caught

This. The police chief is a gullible dumbass. Does he really not know Marshall's history? Marshall got off easy with a citation and he will be doing the same shite because Auburn's drug testing policy is obviously a joke.

Obviously it should be legal but.....it isn't. I smoke too and if I got caught by the police I wouldn't expect to be let off either.

I know more people that were let off than were charged. Most cops don't care about pot.

He was recommended medical Marijuana to deal with the anxiety. Unfortunately he is just ahead of his time. A trailblazer in the southern culture. The James Meredith of the millennial generation.

How so? Why would they be tested in the middle of July anyway?

I'm guessing none of them were quarterbacks at a D1 university that just played in the NCG.
