That depends on what propaganda LSU fans are trying to push. Sometimes they complain about having Florida every year

Then they are overvaluing Texas. Things do change and Sark could have more success there than he did in his last HC gig, but until that happens, I think A&M is closer to doing something than Texas. Texas has the resources to get better, but until proven otherwise, they are a middle of the pack team. OU and A&M would be the top teams there.

It makes more sense for Arkansas to be in the Delta division than A&M. Like it or not, they have perpetuated that " Battle for the Boot" as an annual thing for LSU/Ark football. Ole Miss and Arkansas has become a thing. For baseball, that division would be stacked. A&M is still a relative newcomer and they've really only become relevant in the last few seasons and still haven't won anything. The A&M vs Texas rivalry is >>> LSU vs A&M, so much so that it has framed much of the discussion about adding Texas and OU to the SEC in the first place.
Just say you're scared.

Scared of...what? A&M? Uh, no. More like A&M seems to be scared of getting stuck with Texas, although I have no idea why. Whether it is Arkansas or A&M, LSU's schedule is about to get considerably easier with no annual Bama or Florida games.

You do realize, in some kind of fricked up world, we could end up getting in the western conference, playing UT, OU, AM, Ark, Mizzou, Ole, MSST and then two perm opponents being Bama and Florida every year.
Bring them all the frick on.
That being said, if they don't go straight geographic (which this map is not) someone will look like a pussy. If they don't have all of the in-state schools in the same pod, someone will look like even more of a pussy.

And yet you pick the easiest pod for LSU.

Really need to make sure that Arkansas/Ole Miss rivalry stays locked in. We’ll take them as our permanent cross pod opponent.

No. We made it very clear that our terms of agreement to a 14-0 vote were that we weren't in a "Big 12 pod".

Do these pods + 2 permanents + 5 rotating work for a schedule?
I’m fine with the pods if we still play TU & Arky

No, we’ve just complained about you getting fed cupcakes. Those “bridge” schedules in 2012 and 13 were doozies

We left the Big XII for a reason. We don't want to go to a Big XII pod.
Y'all just have to come to grips with the fact that some of your annual games are going to have to go away. Mizzou-kansas WAS the second oldest rivalry in the country.
We didn't whine about it going away because we knew things were better.
Y'all can do this.
