Saw somewhere that SEC Network mused about this alignment. I'm good with it.

Do these pods have non-pod permanent match ups?
TU / TAMU, UGA / AUB, LSU / UF should happen every year

I like that grouping and I like the idea that you play 1/2 of each additional pod every year and then switch to the teams you hadn’t played the next year. That way you get every team in 2 years, every stadium in 4, and if you make sure everyone has 1 of the top half and 1 of the bottom half of each pod the schedules are extremely even.

I get wanting to keep these 3 games, but that fricks up the rotation I described above and because of that I’d rather we not do permanent games.
However, because of the TU/aTm and UGA/Barn games I think we will have permanent out of pod opponents.

Just need a 15 game conference season and crown the winner nation champ for NFL lite

Really need to make sure that Arkansas/Ole Miss rivalry stays locked in. We’ll take them as our permanent cross pod opponent.

I'd rename the App Pod as the Central Pod. Tuscaloosa and Auburn wouldn't like the idea of being called Appalachia

I've wondered the same myself. Some say no, others yes.
Someone call Paul and find out!

If we go pods that is probably how it is going to work out. With (in my opinion) a 90% certainty.

Too bad
Would be funny if that was the name given to that group of teams. It really only applies to Tennessee and that would piss off the Gumps. I'd enjoy it.

I say call it the eastern pod. frick using Atlantic or coastal due to ACC.

For sure. By far the most balanced and makes the most geographic sense. Also keeps as many rivalries as possible.
I'm sure a UGA/AUB non-pod permanent could be arranged

Frontier - West
River - South
Appalachia - North
Atlantic - East

I thought Texas A&M? Or LSU?

Switch out “North” for “Central” then it’s good. Bama/Auburn may not be Appalachian, but they’re certainly not northern
