My responses are in the other thread. No mention of Morgantown, no police involvement, etc. I'm not saying the incident itself didn't happen, but it didn't happen in Morgantown or there would have been a shite storm all over the news.

You are baited on a false agenda of trying to defend your school in this particular situation. At this point in time, with no actual facts or news stories etc. both sides need to relax. I believe the man exists and he was hurt by a gang of people but from there, I don't know. It's not your place or mine to try and unravel the mystery and look bad or make our schools look bad in the process.

Don't you find this whole thing to be just a little bit fishy though? All we have is Facebook pages with comments on walls and the family apparently nailing about 10 different message boards telling the same exact story. It's as if the family had an official release that they just copied and pasted over and over again.
If something like this happened in Baton Rouge, it would have made the local news. I don't know if Morgantown has "local news" or if they use Pittsburgh News, but there would at the very least be a newspaper article about it.

I can assure you that you don't hear about every near death beating in Baton Rouge. I witnessed a kid literally get his eyeball kicked out of his head and there wasn't one news story about it in Lexington. I'm not even sure that this beating, even happened, or if it was near death. ESPN reported on the beating at the Dodger game this year, but do you think that is the first time something like this has happened? I don't know for sure, but I doubt it.

I requested it to be deleted, although the topic title on the other one should be changed. That should not be directed at WVU as a whole. There are some sort of incidents at nearly any sporting event. Also we still don't know everything that transpired. For all we know it had nothing to do with the game at all, or what.

It is on WVU's facebook, but their is no details of the incident that they are talking about. It could be unrelated. It's amazing how people just run with shite. I'm not saying that the said incident didn't happen, but I'm looking for a little more confirmation than there was an incident in purple lot and police want info.

Was the LSU fan being an a-hole?
No matter what, it is not as if there is NEVER an incident at LSU. A few drunken asshats do NOT represent the entire fanbase / program.
Hell, I heard that once upon a time, a starting QB for the LSU football team got into a fight.
