Bama gonna reach the SEC title game, lose, and be out of the playoff.
Thanks to FSU
Are you counting on Mizzou beating Oklahoma this coming weekend?

As an OM fan I’m not offended by that ranking. TTU is for real. We have a couple of good wins but didn’t play the toughest SEC schedule.
What offends me is Oregon being ranked ahead of OK; they haven’t beaten anyone. Their best win is against an unranked 6-4 Iowa, and a 6-4 MN. No other wins over a team above .500. Oregon is enjoying a ranking that would be deserved only if/when they beat USC.
Don't worry about that because Ole Miss is likely to lose to Mississippi State.

Bama would be out if TT loses the Big 12 CG. Short of winning the SEC.
Truth. These screwy rules need to be fixed. Tulane in and Bama out would be insanity.

If we lose another game it really doesn't matter because we aren't a national championship quality team. The actual insanity is even talking about 3 loss teams and a team like Tulane as part of the playoff picture.
It completely cheapens the entire things and waters down the accomplishments of the actual good teams and/or teams that deserve it.
It's way too many teams in the playoffs. And AQ status needs to go away immediately. Hell, change for this year even.

JMO, but a bad loss should absolutely be a factor
Yep, but in what world does it outweigh great wins?
Notre Dame is free to schedule who they like. They scheduled Miami and lost. A team with the same record. They are ranked ahead of Miami. Notre Dame has played 3 better than dogshit football teams and they’re 1-2. Bama is 4-1 against those teams, and 4-1 against dogshit teams. That team they lost to in that group is currently 7th in the country in ypg by the way. Where do we draw the line? Do wins matter or not? Per the committee rankings, Bama has the best win in the country. On the road. You tell me man. I understand the battered by bama syndrome that exists nation wide, but give me a fricking break. The guy was blabbering about rushing yards tonight. Bama fell 6 spots after losing a game to a top 10 team that they doubled up in yards. The same yards that are apparently important in seeding teams. Open your eyes, this “sport” has turned into a television show

I knew TT would be ahead of Ole Miss. Alabama cannot afford to lose another game with this positioning. Texas is out. Seven spots is too much to make up in two weeks no matter what they do short of a massive shakeup at the top.
A&M has to win against their cupcake and they are a lock. Indiana and tOSU play each other so one will drop below A&M and possibly UGA if both win out. ND is in barring a collapse.
Alabama is hosed if TT doesn’t win the B12

With this positioning three losses takes you out of the playoffs no matter the strength of schedule. SEC should cancel nine conference games

Tech beat a weak BYU team and a weak Utah team, neither of which have beaten anyone but each other. Tech lost to a bad ASU team that lost to State.
Ole Miss lost on the road to UGA by one score and beat OU and Tulane along with an SEC schedule.
Tech is a 3 loss team in the SEC. BYU and Utah have no business being close to the Playoffs.
Bawahahaha.
You can always tell the irrational, nut job ags that lost their girl to a Red Raider. This post reeks of bitterness, irrationality, and flat out lies. But by all means carry on Milkman and embarrass yourself and the Ag fan base.

Why they show Miami and Tulane is beyond me...
Correct, it’s going to be Tech or Virginia not Miami.

What I'm taking away from this is strength of conference means nothing except as a tie breaker.
So when the SEC goes to 9 games teams in cupcake conferences with one less loss will get in first.

Exactly. Huge mistake SEC commish got taken to woodshed by B10 and others coaxing him into 9 games.

I had a Texas friend tell me if the blank Arky 35-0 and beat us by 2 scores, they are in.
Lol, I asked are you serious?
He was dead serious.

How many losses to unranked team does each top ten team have?
Damn.
Imagine losing to the only team that has a loss against an unranked opponent.

OU has 4 ranked wins. 5 after this weekend

Tech would clean your clock aggy. All the mentions in here about them tell me everyone does not want them on their schedule. You should drop 2 spots for playing a high school this late in the season.
You chose to play Ark Pine Bluff, Kent State and Oregon State OOC. That's fine but it left you with no room to drop a game to a shitty team like ASU that lost to Mississippi State.
I've watched a lot of Tech games this year and they are a good team for sure. They just are able to play against teams that don't have the same caliber of athletes. Lots of guys running wide open and RB's going through big holes to run for easy scores. You have a solid Front 7 but the teams you play don't have OL's or other athletes to challenge them.
We will find out soon enough when you get in the playoff, most likely you get the G5 team or the ACC team (I feel I'm repeating myself) in the first round though. Eventually you have to play a team with talent.

Married to a beautiful Aggie actually from West Texas. She thought about going to Tech until one of her Dad's friends asked her, "Got a pencil? Then you can get into Tech". Still I have lots of friends and family who went there and have kids who go there. I only hate assholes like you that remind me of the shitty Tech fans that overshadow the good ones.
Oh, and A&M has owned Tech. We lead the overall series and beat you the last 3 times we played. The Tech/A&M stuff is a perfect encapsulation of the meme.

Incredible that a team can lose to Florida and still be 17. But I guess they want to make our game look more competitive to hype it up. Ags down by 15 at the half and win by 10.
Also surprised they didn't put JM and UNT in considering they have a path while several there do not.
If Jordan Hare VooDoo shows up in the Iron Bowl and Auburn beats Alabama on some bullshite and ATM holds pat against Baja Oklahoma the first half of the SECCG game is liable to be the most comical half of SEC football ever played. UGA and ATM both tend to get off the team bus about 28 and a half minutes after opening kick off...the second half may be the best half of football played in the SEC in years....
