Texas
Georgia or A&M
Tennessee
Ohio State
Indiana
Oregon
Penn State
Notre Dame
ACC Champ - Miami/SMU/Clemson
ACC Runner up - Miami/SMU/Clemson
Big 12 Champ - Arizona State/BYU/Iowa State/Colorado
Mountain West Champ - Boise State
There's your likely 12 teams, whichever combination you want to come up with.
If A&M beats Texas the SEC Championship game winner will make the playoffs and the loser will be left out.

Still too much football left to be played.
Any team could get beat next weekend.

I find it hard to believe if SMU loses in the ACC CG that they would still be in over a 3 loss alabama team.

Georgia won’t drop out. They have said they aren’t going to punish teams for this. A&M would steal an at large spot from the ACC in this scenario.

That just got arse blasted by OU?
Ole Miss should be in over bama

Agreed. Ole Miss likely will be ranked ahead of alabama. They haven't been blown out this year and alabama got crushed last night by a 5-5 team.

Ole Miss has zero business being anywhere near a playoff unless we talking Georgia High School Football

I don't know about all that. However, Ole Miss avoided the SECCG as they wished.
