Downtown New Orleans is pretty damn safe. I know it's pretty intimidating for your fellow pig folk but still.

it's not really angst. Besides Miami you can't top NOLA for a big sporting event.

Imma guessing Gary Stokan & the Atlanta Sports Council will put on a full court press to get in on the action. Might not come to fruition but I expect the Atlanta group to be a player...

poydras and canal are just about parallel so that doesn't make sense. the quarter only is dangerous more towards the river and further away from canal. the only way you reach those areas is if you wander past the gay section of bourbon or if you're promised drugs or something.

Tell me about all of the tourist attractions and character of downtown Atlanta, por favor. And the hundreds of thousands of vacationers it draws annually.

most visitors don't. the more sketchy areas are fairly obvious. hence why you don't hear of many tourists getting hurt. if new orleans was so dangerous the NBA All-Star game, Final Four, Women's Final Four, and Super Bowl wouldn't have set up shop in a 2 year period.

See, this is what someone was talking about. The complete animosity toward Atlanta from LSU fans. No one is talking shite about NOLA.

Atlanta has it's own perks. Safer than NOLA. More money than NOLA. More huge corporations than NOLA. More Pro Sports than NOLA. More people than NOLA.
