SEC - Auburn/UGA winner is in
ACC - Clemson/Miami winner is in
Wisconsin is in if they win
OU is in if they win
Bama is in if Wisconsin or OU don’t win
tOSU is in if they win & TCU wins
USC has no chance.
No conference championship loser can get in with a loss.

Now why do they make it sound like if Miami wins then Clemson still has a shot at being voted in? Just go to a damn 8 team playoff already!!!!

I watched ESPN for a few minutes yesterday and caught a sports center guy say that Clemson could lose and still get in

Heather Dinich set him straight

That is the only somewhat debatable part. I think it’s clear 1 loss Bama gets in over 2 loss tOSU but I guess crazier things have happened.

Bama only in if TCU wins.

CFP not turning away Ohio State.

There wouldn’t be a dumb debate if they would just go to an 8 team playoff. The 5 championship teams that win are automatically in. Then the last 3 spots are by debate. It give these undefeated teams like UCF a shot at playing.

8 gets you too many undeserving teams IMO.

6 is where it’s at. Get all 5 conference champs in and 1 wild card team. This year it’s be Bama. Reward the top 2 champs with the fewest losses or best SOS.

We could make Ohio and Bama play each other right off the bat and end this dumb debate

Bingo! Alabama wouldn't have even had to show up for the Auburn game (I'm not sure they actually did. ), kept all their walking wounded at home to rehab, and STILL been a lock for the playoffs. The bye week thing would take care of that problem with a 6-team playoff.
