It’s comparable until you get to the part where Joe had 1,700* more yards + 14 more TDs in just 1 more game.
With 5x the talent around him and around 100 more pass + rush attempts.
What Newton did from a pure athletic dominance is just insane. To will Auburn to a 14-0 season against the SEC in its peak is incredible.
There were 4 people drafted from that team after that season was over. In comparison LSU could have anywhere from 10-15 this year. That doesn't even include Marshall and Chase who are ineligible.

Yep, a product of Joe Brady. I agree

Because Cam didn't have a single offensive skill player on that 2010 team that got drafted.
That isn't great for RB/WRs draft stock.
Let's also remember that Auburn won 5 games where they scored less than 28 points. Which is cRaZy because I don't remember Cam playing much defense that year.
*LSU scored 36+ in 14 of 15 games.

Anti's pick.....don't be surprised if Mac Jones has Tua like numbers. He won't win the Heisman because our younger QB is going to play, but Jones played solid ball in relief of Tua against good competition and he will surprise this year.
He'll be behind a veteran line, and have plenty of help on offense.

GTFO. The SEC East champ was 7-5 South Carolina who Auburn got to play twice and your permanent cross-division rival, UGA was 6-7. Bama was a 3-loss team and Florida was a 5-loss team and you were luck to get your 2 best SEC opponents (LSU and Arkansas) at home. Your big OOC opponent was 6-7 Clemson. You squeaked by MSU by 3, Clemson by 3 and 6-7 Kentucky by 3.

Keep in mind, Bill predicted LSU to go 15-0 and for Burrow to win the Heisman.
Pretty sure he's predicted LSU to go 15-0 since 2014.

If true, that doesn't bode well for LSU next year.
Do these guys know their fans think they're just the product of a QB who's left campus?

Well since the guys replacing those players are 5-stars like Kardell Thomas, Kayshoun Boutte, John Emery, Arik Gilbert a boat load of 4-stars and we've shown we can coach players up, I don't think anybody is too worried.

One could argue that Burrow made a JaMarcus-like jump. If I recall, JaMarcus skyrocketed up the draft boards after his performance against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Was a projected mid-round pick for most of his career
