What has he done in his 9 years of being a HC that proves he can coach? Your best player was on his BYU team last year. Again 0 tournament wins in 9 years as a HC
Cal took freaking UMASS to a final 4 in less time and that is a place that had never won a tournament game before or after him.

He's not at small schools with small budgets anymore. He's at the premier program in all of college basketball.

Cal was obviously a much better coach back then, no one is arguing that. He's become way too dependent on talent and that doesn't work so much today, see his recent record and why he is no longer our coach. He should bring some success to Arkansas though, so you should be happy.

His players love Kentucky and their former coach, and they should.

I don't think any Kentucky fan is unhappy Cal is gone with what Pope is doing.
They should be happy they have cal, he might get them to some success in basketball.
