They’re having a very merry Christmas this year

I’m sure it was a tremendous relief to get away from all that pressure. Now he can relax at his house on the lake.
He looked absolutely beat down and done in the post-game presser.
He's probably the happiest guy in the state now that he doesn't have that pressure and is wildly rich.

$3M wasn’t worth waiting
When you’re spending other people’s money, what’s the big deal anyway. If all they had to do was wait a few weeks to save a few million they absolutely should’ve done that. Their next two games are Tennessee and A&M so it’s not like they have a shot to win anyway.

Yes, it was a stupid contract addition. Not $76 million stupid but stupid nonetheless.
As stupid as the contract was, though, the move needed to take place now. I mean, really, what's $3 mil in the grand scheme of things when talking about college football?

I think the people who are laying down the money to pay it are probably more than capable of calculating the risk for themselves.

When the stadium empties out at halftime it becomes a pure business decision.

Or they like Sam Pittman and want to reward him for being a shitty coach. Coaches contracts are what’s most wrong with college football today.

As Arkansas just did. Weird flex.

Not a flex. It is simply pocket change for teams like Texas and A&M. A&M paid a record $70M to get rid of their deadbeat coach

My man was fired the day they hired Petrino.
