let's cut the BS. It had nothing to do with talent, or who was from where.

This is 100% a racial issue. No way the "old money" boosters at Alabama would allow an African American to be their starting QB.

There is a reason that there was exactly ZERO QB controversy after both played/auditioned in the Kent State game. Sims was clearly not ready. I didn't hear anybody argue otherwise.

This HS coach sounds even more foolish when you factor in that Saban's coaching decisions just led to the BCS Championship and McCarron is the reigning MVP of the BCSCG.

The U of Alabama does not WANT a black qb.
They will recruit them just to make sure no one else in the SEC gets them, only to cut them down the road with little eligibility left and cannot transfer to another sec program

Yea I think thats a good conspiracy theory

frickin' retarded. Lets get his parents expert opinion next.

He's a talented guy, but only one can be starter...he just got beat out. I'm pretty happy with McCarron's performance.

I can't say that I'm certain previous Alabama coaches wouldn't prefer an in state guy to an out of state guy or a white guy to a black guy, but I can say for certain that Saban is going to put the best guy on the field no matter what he looks like or where he's from.

I don't care for Saban but that's only because he's winning and doing historic things in the same state of my favorite football team. He's tough but if you asked the former Alabama players that put the time and work in that Saban demands they'll tell you he made them a better football player and person.

This shite is dumb.
